What did Jeff ever do to deserve someone wanting him to have to go live in SLC? Living in OK City is bad enough. Hey! I think Salt Lake City would rank higher on a lot of people lists that OKC. For one, the sports bars aren't that crowded on Sunday as, um, lots of people are otherwise occupied.

I have to confess that I'm not up to speed with off season news.... but I was wondering why Summers hasn't played for Detroit. Was he sent to the D League?

Nope just sitting on the bench like their other two draft picks. Daye got 1 minute yesterday he didn't play in the first game either.

Dajuan is on the roster - which means that he is being paid - but he has not dressed in either of the first two games.

OKC looking good so far - Green, Durant, Westbrook, Harden is a rock solid nucleus. If they can upgrade a few of these journeymen centers for a huge guy that loves to defend/board and doesnt want to score they they can be a legit threat in the coming years.

For those of you watching the Pistons, any chance Dajuan makes it onto the court soon? Or is he just behind too many swingmen right now?

He's listed as last on the depth chart so its really doubtful there are significant floor minutes in his future. He'll probably spend some time in the D League too but none of this is unusual for a second round pick. The fact that they liked him enough to give him a roster spot right from the start bodes well for his future.

The Pacers apparently picked up Roy's option for the 2010-2011 season.

Roy has back to back double doubles. 15 points, 14 rebounds, 2 blocks, 0 fouls tonight in win over Knicks at MSG. He had 14 & 12 with 4 blocks last night in a loss to Denver. With Troy Murphy out with injury these two nights, Roy's rebound numbers have jumped up.

Dajaun with the magical trillion (1000000000000) as he dresses in place of Jonas Jerebko.
Roy played well tonight and his defense has really improved. The best part of the game is listening to Pacers color commentator Clark Kellogg channeling MCIGuy complete with "Get Roy the ball", "He's reposting, throw it back in" and "How can you not make an entry pass to a seven foot two guy who has pinned his defender four feet from the basket."

I liked the ZERO foul stats, given Roy's predilection for fouling last year. That combined with his other fine stats means that Roy continues to improve, as we all saw when he was at GU.

Lost in Allen Iverson's recent pontifications (which I always find entertaining to no end), is the fact that he actually played pretty well* last game.
18 points on 8 for 12, 7 assists. (would've broke 20 if he made his FTs)
Not bad. Maybe he should be starting. ;D
(*not that I am surprised he played well, just that all the attention has been on what's being said off the court, obviously).
