Not sure that really means much. If a scholly opens up, we'll see about it. I read somewhere that he's trying to visit UCONN as well, and they're not on that list either.

We aren't going after Hart. As good as he may be, we have other priorities.

Nova just hired a takeover assistant, as did IU earlier. Gotta grind harder for the kids hoyas want now. It is what it is....

There is no "position" - they don't have the same style and would likely be on the floor together. Now if there are no schollies then...that's another story...

I agree it's not a matter of position so much. And I expect a scholarship or two will open up for 2013. But given the fact that pretty much everyone in our front court is a question mark to one degree or another, can you really see Hart taking a commit while Agua or another forward is on the board? I do think Hart would contribute and he may end up being an excellent player, but you can't ignore positional needs entirely. Domingo's commit and early enrollment just exacerbated that dynamic.

Wait there’s no positions so can we play Josh at Center? errrr.. or I mean the tall guy who plays in the paint mostly that other teams label as a “Center”? lol
You guys are talking about what 3 says versus what Josh perceives… Josh is the one who said that we took a player at his position so obviously to him this matters.. That’s all I’m saying. Looking over our roster it appears we have a lot of capable players at SG and SF which is where he would play.

He's not a priority for 3 and between jabril, DSR, and Domingo, it's easy to see why josh would move on as well. Wish the kid well!

CBS’ Jeff Goodman reports, “The #83-ranked recruit Josh Hart has a top three of Villanova, Penn State and Rutgers. Villanova coach Jay Wright has made Hart a priority over the past few months. “I really like their coaching staff,” Hart said. “I've known them for quite awhile now. They definitely care about their players, and they have a great track record with developing guards and putting them into the league.”

Cox is a factor, obviously, but apparently the kid's girlfriend is a Rutgers soccer recruit.

I hope he ends up in the Big East. In fact, I hope a lot of these kids end up in the BE - -after we get first pick of course. Whatever makes BE teams stronger is good for us.
