FL should be in the Hoya basketball hall of fame. Best write-ups ever!

Great recaps, FL, and thanks again! One question: Are you going to China with the team?

Wow, that's some vintage recap stuff you found there MCI. CUTS, Inc. is my favorite Kenner League team name of all time. Real shocker that a team with the four 2004 Hoya freshmen, Byron Mouton, and Isaiah Swann did well, huh?
I was only at the Kenner League briefly that summer, and I'd totally forgotten about it. I moved to DC permanently in late August 2004...I was in DC signing the lease on my apartment that weekend, so I probably stopped by a night or two. KL definitely ran later in the summer back in the day.
No China trip for me...I certainly have the vacation hours, certainly do not have the disposable $$$...at least for the way Georgetown travels, shoot for the cost of those travel packages I could probably buy McDonough Gymnasium.
I'm not 100% sure what kind of content GU is planning for the China trip. Obviously any kind of social media is out of the question. Last Hoop Club meeting, I had a conversation with some folks about whether we could get some of the folks traveling to write blog posts afterwards, and the possibility of GUHoyas.com doing content there/thereafter. They've certainly been writing a fair amount this summer.
2004 is probably the last time I ever wrote a "mini recap" of anything.

Even thou, I follow Georgetown basketball due to knowing most of the players. It does sadden me when the Kennar League Championship is played, and the other team members who aren't part of the Georgetown squad aren't mentioned. Especially when they contributed greatly to that teams win. The Clyde's won and two of the players weren't even mentioned. Not even the turn-over that #3 of the Clydes made to cause the first OT. I also noticed #3 stated all the games except the Championship. The other player #10 wasn't even mentioned. Wow!

Had this of been a Kenner League board, I'm sure each and every player would get there name tossed around. Due to the fact that it is a Georgetown basketball board, most people tend to give a damn only about the people that...actually have some relevancy to the Georgetown basketball program. Weird huh?

Evidently, reason #1 has something to with writing 4,100 words on the Kenner League final, but missing the four critical ones: "Rashad Whack" and "Dwayne Smith"
