You can also view that quote as a negative since he mentioned pick and rolls and we rarely run pick and rolls. Quotes about playing style should really be taken with a grain of salt IMO. These guys have tons of factors to consider and we don't even know the context of the quote.

Then just go away if you don't like what you read around here. Please? No reason to pay him any mind, he's just a kid. tgod, why not go post on a board of a school you actually went to if you have such a problem with this one? wait, I guess you're just some psychic then cause there's just no way I went to GU right? And i guess i must be a kid just because "problem of a dog" declares it so? Give me a break dude you follow me around random threads waiting for someone to disagree with my opinion so that you can hop on and proceed to bash me. Get a life dude, seriously. If you dont have a problem with setting yourself up for failure that means you have a loser's mentality. No one gets points for second place.

I said I didn't play at Georgetown, not that I never went....and quite frankly, for you to remember stuff like that is just weird because I don't even really remember what exchange you're referring to. And I don't have a twitter, so I guess you're right again?

Dial it back people. Participants here are interested in reading posts about the recruit, not arguments between posters that have little to no other content.

If you say something, its not weird for somebody to remember it. that's if you're into holding meaningless grudges with people you have never met before and whose actions or opinions have absolutely no effect on your own life. But Dan is right, back to Rysheed. Does anyone have inside info?

Is it safe to assume at this point that we either have someone else as our #1 pg target or that we think we can move forward with Hart on board with our other combo guards. Just seems confusing to me but then again I am not a D1 hbb coach

OK, Hart is not a combo guard. Also, its hard to tell. But this is a consistent problem for us. We recruit these players before they break out (Jordan is now 12th in the nation on rivals) but fail to close the deal. Its disappointing to say the least. However, just because those programs are "coming at him the hardest" doesn't mean we won't be in his top 5. I am no insider, but I think he will choose a local school. Thats my guess.

From now to his selection of the best school for him, how many iterations of his favorite or 'on me the hardest' lists will he have? I wish there was a way to exclude Recruiting posts from the "Last 10 Posts" option. hm

Yea one or two quotes can definitely be random. Four or five consecutive ones become a pattern

Rysheed is getting more notices from other major programs... is he a type of a kid that will jump to UNC/Kentucky if they were to offer?

Rysheed Jordan (Philly Pride 2013) – Jordan rattled off a list of schools involved in his recruitment including Temple, La Salle, Villanova, Xavier, Kansas, UCLA, Georgetown, Syracuse, Rutgers and Seton Hall. I personally saw coaches from all of those schools court side for both of Jordan’s games except Kansas and Georgetown and frankly I could have missed them given how many coaches were present. Jordan stressed academics when pressed on what he’s looking for in a program citing that he needs to prepare himself for life after basketball and wants to use the college experience to do that. He’s planning to narrow things down after the AAU season is over but was unsure whether he would sign early in November or wait for the spring signing period. He honestly sounded like a kid who isn’t giving all that much thought to the recruiting process right now but is instead focused on playing and improving every day. www.nbebasketball.com/w3/2012-0726/live-in-ac-report-day-i/

collegebasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/07/28/vaux-pa-guard-rysheed-jordan-to-cut-list-in-coming-days-take-official-visits-in-fall/“When school starts, I’m going to take some official visits then make a decision,” he said. At a wiry 6-4, Jordan has good size for a high-major point guard and works well in transition. He showed the ability to distribute and even confidence to step back and hit the three-pointer when defenses converged into the paint to cut off dribble penetration. Though he says his list is getting too long to remember in full, he mentioned Syracuse, Villanova, Temple, LaSalle, Georgetown, Seton Hall, Rutgers, and Xavier. Maryland, Kansas, NC State, and Pittsburgh are also among those in the mix. He told NBCSports.com that, though he is cutting his list down soon, he is still open to interest from other schools and does not feel limited by geography, willing instead to go wherever he feels he fits be
