would hoyas take his verbal if they offered on the spot? Will probably end up waiting for Noel to commit before letting him do anything.

I see Meeks as the 4 to Noel's 5.

I'd like to thank all who have provided information on possible recruits in this and other threads. It's a great service to the rest of us.

Nerlens Noel is a 4 on offensive end or a mobile 5 like Monroe--defensively he's a protector of the rim and the best defensive player in country as a prospect.
Here's a recap of news today:
Dreamvision a team which has guys who have mentioned Hoyas and are being recruited plays on CBS Sports (formerly CBS College Sports) tonight and will be replayed throughout the rest of week in title of Vegas tournament against Texas Assault--led by Marcus Smart--who Hoyas watched last night. Dreamvision is known for Shabazz Muhammed but Hoya related--Joe Rahon, Robert Upshaw, and Xavier Johnson all play for them.
Tomorrow night BABC could be playing TakeOver for Showcase title--BABC has a game against an upstart team led by Bama/former Hoya target Jaren Sina and fast guard Alex Citola but I like BABC to win that game and TakeOver has game against Houston Defenders--led by Harrison Twins, Shaq Cleare, Derrick Griffin, and Christan Sanders. That will be on ESPN U tomorrow night. (I'm predicting BABC for certain to be there but good teams and Hoya targets either way).
III has been watching all the games in Showcase.
Brandon Bolden is rejoining the NTF team for AAU Nationals so he's flying to Florida today (end of speculation).
Hoyas mentioned with these 2 '13 guards as being in contact (no offer)--Monte Morris a 6'0 PG from Flint, Michigan and Josh Newkirk of NC Word of God.
Tyler Ennis along with Andrew Wiggins helped lead CIA Bounce to 16U Showcase title. First Canadian team to win the showcase. Ennis has been on Hoya radar for a while and is a PG at NJ St. Benedicts and will continue to play there.
All I got for today--more tonight.

RDF I may disagree with you sometimes but you are a freaking vacuum when it comes to recruiting news. Thanks for sharing this stuff.

I'm thrilled to see Bolden put my skepticism and fear to bed. Now, let's just hope he shows us something at nationals.

Not a lot of updates so far today but the latest:
Al Freeman has no top group of schools but listed Georgetown and said he'll be taking a visit to Georgetown (along with Villanova) in October. Freeman did the same thing last year.
Georgetown continues to be listed with Archie Goodwin and he's got a top 12, will cut 2 schools to make it top 10 going into September and will take all of his official visits (you get 5) before deciding.
Kyle Anderson and NJ Playaz are playing out in Phoenix starting today--and DC Assault is out there as well with Nate Britt playing too. Tournament starts today. Keeping an eye on whether III leaves Orlando to go to Phoenix.
TakeOver was beating Houston Defenders and if BABC wins their game in a few hours--it could set up the game at 7 EST tonight on ESPNU. A Maryland reporter said that Mike Kobani had joined TakeOver for this event--but have nothing else about that.

Hadn't seen them list us lately, good to hear. No idea about our chances, but at least we're trying. I'd give my left arm for Nerlens Noel. Seemingly gets better every time I see him and his offensive game is growing by the second. If he develops a mid-range game, he'll be scary good. I've been detached for the last fee days so haven't been keeping up with what's happened in Vegas and Orlando but I pray JTIII is at his game.

Doesn't Goodwin want to play Football and Basketball? I think I read. I'm sure he could automatically make our team, but I don't know how good he is at football.

Archie Goodwin (who is likely staying in South) is a 6'5 2G--Shaq Goodwin is a 6'9 240 lb PF. Archie is who I was referring too.

III stayed in Orlando and was at the Semifinals today and also watched Troy Williams and Brandon Bolden play tonight. Interesting note--at the Phoenix Event--Donovan, Willard, Lavin, and Howland were all present for Kyle Anderson while Georgetown sent an assistant.

In watching the Texas Pro vs GA Stars game it was interesting that a kid who has blown up this Summer--"Chicken" Knowles had Georgetown as a school he's interested in. Knowles is a 6'9 Combo forward who had 15 in the win over GA Stars who have Tony Parker and the oustanding Alex Poythress. Danuel House (wish Hoyas would recruit a kid like this sometime but it is what it is)
5 Star Basketball had a note I hadn't seen and not sure if it's true--but they said Georgetown is showing interest in 6'8 Forward from BABC Jake Layman--another kid who had has a monster Summer. Maryland is the leader.
Duke offered '13 PG from Wisconsin Bronson Koening. UNC and Wisconsin are his top 2 but interesting Duke would offer him ahead of Nate Britt.
LJ Rose is seeing all of his schools recruit other guards. LJ plays for Houston Hoops and in latest update said Texas is favorite (they too are on others like Javon Felix) but next in line of schools and first out of his mouth--Georgetown.
Kris Dunn--the PG and good friend of Andre Drummond continues to list Hoyas. Providence, Uconn, and Marquette also high on his list and he seems like a BE kid all the way.
Brandon Bolden had a good showing tonight--was more aggressive and played more intense. Some blocked shots and monster dunks. Good for him and nice to hear.
Leo Papile who works for Celtics compared Nerlens Noel to Bill Russell. WOW!
A new player to keep an eye on--just moved over from Cameroon and not sure of his classification but always keep an eye on kids like this--6'11 Landry Nnoko. Didn't have school list but he's a big kid and came over/new to states. Worth mentioning.
