NBA released their schedule today. NHL schedule has already been released as well. Getting closer to having a full schedule now. Was that the 2012-2013 NBA schedule? i.e. the next season?

Nope just released the schedule like the lock out doesn't exist. So half the schedule most likely will never be played and the dates may get shifted around. But I assume we can go ahead based on this "schedule"

But I assume we can go ahead based on this "schedule" Actually, the 2011 NBA's schedule was released a full month earlier than 2010's. The lockout has apparently made the league's administration more efficient. If the owners can keep this trend alive, they might be able to save enough money to pay those ridiculous salaries after all.

So looking at the Caps and Wiz schedules, it looks like there are more than a few winter Saturdays when neither team will be using the Verizon Center: 1/7, 1/21, 1/28, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25.
I know there will probably be concerts or events on some of those dates, but anyone think there's a chance we get a few (or at least one) Saturday night home game? When was the last time that happened?

yeah based on the Verizon schedule online there are no events scheduled yet for after the first week of December. Now it's possible events already have dates booked but it's just not released to the public yet, but there are a lot of Saturdays that are completely free where you think we could get a Saturday night game.
There are also a number of monday's open in January so hopefully we can get a home big monday game.

from the front page: www.news-record.com/blog/56101/entry/123101Ouch. Well I guess we can chalk up one win. UNC-Greensboro was brutal last year. won 7 games last year and had an RPI of 294. Guess it really wasn't up to us since it's part of the Maui tournament.

Pretty sure two of the other three are Middle Tennessee State (playing UCLA on 11/15) and Towson (playing Kansas on 11/11).

Really?!? Probably our best OOC home game 3 days before Christmas?
Sigh. I'm really glad I went with student tickets rather than young alum tickets this year.

Good to know this far out to make travel plans, but I imagine that student attendance is going to be an issue

If Memphis loses it's opening round game in the Maui invitational and wins its next game ( and the hoyas do the same)... Does this mean we could play them twice this year?
