You do realize this is not an unachievable goal, right? Just because Obama says there's nothing he can do to lower the price of gas doesn't mean there's nothing anyone can do to make that happen. Bachmann is not my favorite, and she should elaborate on the steps necessary to achieve this, but I'm trying to figure out what is wrong with this stated aspiration (other than, for liberals, that she said it). I think he skipped over thebin's post about political discourse. I'm elevating political discourse because I think we can overcome partisan differences to agree that Michele Bachmann is an embarrassment

Well, like I said, she's not my favorite. (Still take her over the current occupant tho).
But she's said a lot stranger things than this.
To be fair, actually dipping below $2 may not be realistic, but there are steps, even in a global economy, that could chop more than a dollar off of domestic gasoline prices and get back to near the $2 mark.
Of course, that would take some sort of consensus in Washington.
Bwaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!
I will now cease the political discourse, so as not to take the thread too far off topic.
Plus, it appears that there are some easy women up in Pennsylvania, so I got to get ready for the weekend.
