S. Davis said if we win two in the BET, we would be in. Of course, he said that if we win the first, we would probably have to play UCONN. Anything is possible.

I thought I saw something online about webcasts of the BET - but I can't remember where. Anyone else recall seeing this?
Otherwise I gotta hope some Irish bar here in Madrid picks it up.

Despite the horrific finish to the regular season, I'm still looking forward to Wednesday night. Let's get a W and see if we can put a scare into the Huskies on Thursday.
I'll be at Cafe 31, as usual.....

Coast2Coast and I will see you all in the Garden as well for Game 1--past that point, our ticket situation will depend on the good graces of the losing Seton Hall and other fans on Wednesday.
No thanks to Athletics--we wanted to buy tixs for the whole tourney, but apparently we weren't "dedicated" enough alumni. There should be special "rabid fan" tickets set aside.

yeah serious, hoyatables. me, bando, drumsgobang, tim and some others have sat through the ups and down of this team in the student section for 7 years now! and we invented beers-n-straws! beers-n-straws should count for something . . .
see y'all in the garden.

I will be there as well. I am hoping for a very strong showing so we can put this stretch behind us and maybe scrap out a few in the BET and the NIT, if it comes to that. I'm proud of this team and our staff, and they deserve our support in the Garden.

Thankfully our gameS (That's right! Plural, dammit!) are at night.
I've been racking my brain for which mysterious "illness" I could come up with in order to watch every minute uninterrupted, if we were on during the day.
Glad I don't have to do that. Since I've pulled this pretty much every year that I can remember, much like Ferris, I think I would have had to cough up a lung or catch a dose of the 'thrax in order to do it again this year.
Go Hoyas! (and Go Friars! and Go Scarlet K-niggits!)

I really hope we havent resigned ourselves to the NIT, only to not play our hardest in the BET. I think the natural instinct would be to say "Crap, even if we beat SHU, we're only going to get pounded by UConn in round two and head to the NIT anyway".... but I want them to come out and play hard. Seton Hall played well against WVU, I watched that game and their players gave it their all despite being less talented. They wont be a walk in the park. Lets hit the boards hard, lets make a statement, and lets say "Hey, even if u dont want to pick us for the NCAA's, were still going to crush anyone you put in front of us."
And then cross the UConn bridge when we get there.

Don't think about the first season or the third season, just take care of business right now. And that means beating Seton Hall. GO HOYAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SINK THE PIRATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please be advised that a snowstorm has left a coating of ice on roadways in NJ that may affect travel into Newark International and on the trains via NJ Transit and Amtrak from points south. This may cause flight and train delays, so please check up on your travel arrangements and travel conditions so you are able to make it up here on time for tomorrow's game.

Win! ;D
And who actually goes to SHU anyway? I've never figured that one out. Do they not get into Rutgers? St. Johns?

Celebrating St. Patrick's Day in NYC many moons ago, I saw a Seton Hall student try to catch a ride in the luggage compartment of a bus. That's everything I know about Seton Hall.
