Yo as much as I am not his biggest fan, have to give him props when they are due. Did a great job passing. No ill-advised drives into the lane. A+

awesome game. best player on the floor. I second this brilliant post--and raise it a notch due to his outward hatred for Syracuse! There was no way in hell he wasn't getting that loose ball late in game. A taser wasn't stopping him. Games like tonight show how a player grows--2 years ago he spearheaded a comeback with scoring--tonight led a victory with great hoops IQ and distributing but also playing some outstanding DEFENSE. Chris' defense the past 2 games has been tremendous.

We both agreed that Chris did a good job on Brooks for the most part. Keep it up Chris.

We both agreed that Chris did a good job on Brooks for the most part. Keep it up Chris. He also did a nice job of recovery defense---he was rotating and cutting off driving players--which he wasn't doing early in season. The sacrifice from some of the players offensively in a particular game is paying off for the better of TEAM SUCCESS. A game like tonight is how you win games--with a player dominating the game without having double digit points. Wright was the dominant player in the game imo. He locked up Jardine and didn't sacrifice any offense--his creativity was brilliant and found right guy--not just open guy but right guy--so impressive.

I must admit, it felt great to yell "Bleepin Gremlin" at the television with a smile on my face when he missed the FT down the stretch, with the game all but in hand. Chris was brilliant last night and had a GRITTY game that was reminiscent of an old school Hoya. Loved his decisions as to when to attack.

4 players in double digits...then we had Chris Wright. Way to be active all game long, on the defensive end and inside of the middle of that zone. You took that one heat check 3 in the middle of the 1st but you were smart and didn't rely on your 3! Great game chris! Way to slow it down at the end to squeeze every last bit of OJ from SUcks

Just thought chris deserved a bump. IMHO, he's been the MVP of at least two of the wins during this 8 game streak.

Chris handles the ball on 90% of the offensive possessions. This means that his mistaks are glaring but his contributions not always appreciated. Although he can be a total disaster when trying to do too much, it is absolutely critical to have a player on the floor with the confidence to change the game in several ways. I doubt if any other Hoya can impact the game as much when his scoring is off.

I don't feel safe when Chris isn't on the floor. The country isn't safe when Hoyas aren't patrolling DC and using it as a playground! Wright has been brilliant lately and he was carrying team on his back in 1st Half and then played a smart/great defensive game in 2nd Half. Nice job of bumping thread to get him some more recognition!

I don't feel safe when Chris isn't on the floor. True. Markel, Clark, Hollis and Vee really need to work on handle by the time next year starts. While Chris and Austin certainly turn it over, it is usually on their passes - they don't get the ball picked away from them. Very reliable ball handlers that we will miss.

Austin lost it as recently as at Syracuse. Two defenders trapped him towards the left corner of the offensive end and one stole it from behind.

Remember not too long ago many of us were lamenting why the Hoyas had so much trouble with pressing teams? Now, teams like Nova, Louisville, Marquette only put on a token press to eat some clock. Chris is the reason for that respect. He is usually a one man press breaker. Next year will be tough unless Markel gets stronger with the ball. Right now a defender chesting him up the sideline will probably cause a TO. Clark and Vee's left hand dribble are still a little shaky. They too need to get stronger like Freeman. He does not have a great left hand dribble, but is strong enough to ward off a defender while coming up court slowly.

Chris Wright has simply taken this team on his shoulders and ran with it.
