Gutsy win for the Saints tonight. Championship caliber fourth quarter drive.

I sure hope that wasn't a foreshadowing of things to come. I don't think I could stand another Saints/Katrina/Lovefest. Once is enough.

As long as its not Dog-killer, anything is okay... You know, vado, for some inexplicable reason, I find myself somewhat drawn to Vick now. And for the life of me, I really can't figure out why. I'm not an Eagle fan and I certainly wasn't a Vick fan. I didn't like Va. Tech and for the most part, thought that Vick, though incredibly talented, was largely worthless for the most part. But I think that his mistake was not as bad as the numerous crimes that other celebs have been known to do against other humans. Additionally, I think that given the nature and status of our criminal justice system today, I think that his punishment was especially harsh. Note, I'm not saying that I think it was "too" harsh, but just that it was harsh given what I see burglars and robbers receive on a daily basis as their punishment. Also, I think that he has paid his debt to society. How much he is "reformed" as a person, I obviously don't know. But I just can't bring myself to dislike the guy as I did before. Still, when he's compared to Brees, it's no contest and yet I'm still leaning to the Eagles over the Saints. I guess maybe I'm just "tired" of the Saints, after even only one year. Regardless, when it comes down to it though, "my" NFL team has got to be the Patriots -- otherwise known as Gators North!

For what they have done, I can't stand Michael Vick, Ben Rothlisberger, Ray Lewis, Kobe Bryant, Tiger Woods and Tom Brady.

At the risk of antagonizing EasyEd by putting words in his mouth, I assume that Tom Brady is on the list b/c he had an out of wedlock kid w/ Bridget Moynahan and b/c he left Moynahan while she was pregnant.

Tom Brady rocks fake hair--has been doing so for quite some time. A ton of celebs do it--especially those who stand to profit from being "pretty boys".

It's okay to like Vick Hifi, because LORD DUNGY has said it's okay. Heaven forbid anything in life goes on without his approval--or input.

In fariness RDF, I do respect Dungy. I even liked him with the Colts, even though I couldn't stand them. And maybe subconciously, I look at Vick in a better light because of what Dungy says about him. But if so, trust me: I'm not doing it on purpose.

Just curious, which circle of hell do you have reserved for Travis Henry and Antonio Cromartie? Pray tell, who are they? Per Wikipedia: Travis Deion Henry (born October 29, 1978 in Frostproof, Florida) is a former American football running back for the Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans and Denver Broncos. Travis was married once, at age 19, to a woman six years his senior; the marriage was later annulled. He is currently engaged. Henry has fathered eleven children by ten different women. Henry has had on-going problems making his child support payments to the mothers of nine of his children. He was arrested in Polk County, Florida in March 2009 and charged with failing to pay $16,600 in child support. His lawyer estimates that he is obligated to pay at least $170,000 per year in child support payments. Antonio Cromartie (born April 15, 1984 in Tallahassee, Florida) is an American football cornerback for the New York Jets of the National Football League. Cromartie has fathered nine children with eight women living in six states, and has been named in at least five paternity suits in the past two years. According to court records, Cromartie failed to appear in court on two separate occasions in reference to moving violations and his driver license status. In March of 2010, the Jets provided Cromartie with a $500,000 advance so Cromartie could pay outstanding child support payments. www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/08/19/antonio-cromartie-kids-vi_n_687497.html

kc, hard to dislike them since I don't know much about them except for what you posted. Assuming you and Wikipedia are correct, put them on the list too.

Lock up your dogs. Ron Mexico is back with a vengeance. That was classic Dog-Killer football last night. Careless with the ball, leading his team to a loss in cold weather. That vote of confidence from Barry O allowed Con-Vick to really be himself again.

NY, I don't think it was really a strong argument anyhow. As surprising as Vick has been most of the season, Brady is simply and rather quietly, putting together one of the best seasons ever. Vick would have made a nice story in a way, and is a shoe-in for comeback player of the year, but that MVP has been Brady's since the Monday night annihilation of the Jets. On one hand, there is the natural tendency to discredit the players/teams that are "always" among the elite. But in this case, the more people think about it, the more they realize just how special Brady is. The Patriots team isn't littered with all-stars. They don't have Randy Moss -- who regardless of what you think of him as a person, is one of the all-time greats at WR. And nothing against Green-Ellis, Westhead etc... but they aren't headed to Canton. And the defense is certainly not that of the Ravens, Steelers etc... No, Brady -- to use the colloquialism -- is all that!
