One would think he would not add us unless he was seriously considering us. jmo. Would be a great get.

We may still just be a dark horse here, but serious props have to go to the staff (III and Kirby?) for getting us back to this point.

When I talked to him at Peach Jam he said a few times that he had a top 3 but that he wanted some other schools to recruit him harder. When pressed he wouldn't reveal which schools they were but most of the other guys I talked to thought he was talking about UNC. nationalhoopsreport.net/2011/07/14/peach-jam-tony-parker-reveals-his-top-three/He's a really good low post scorer that plays below the rim for the most part. Very skilled but needs to shed some weight to improve his explosiveness.

Is Parker's game similar to Tyler Adams?

Is Parker's game similar to Tyler Adams? I saw some all-star game a few months ago in which (don't remember too well-not sure if they were on the same team or not) but Parker absolutely dominated while Tyler was non existent. Tony made a few longer range shots and just destroyed everyone down low.

Is Parker's game similar to Tyler Adams? Absolutely not. Parker is highly skilled and the only thing that could prevent him from eventually playing in the league is a devastating injury. They're both wide bodies but Tyler is definitely rawer and not as agile. Parker was the big I wanted most in the '12 class and this is good news. Early on his recruitment, Parker said how much him and his mom liked Coach Kirby and it was obvious he was interested. For some reason, he stopped listing us but if we can get him to visit, anything is possible. He would be the perfect complement to guys like Hopkins and Bolden in the frontcourt.

Offensively, how does he compare to Mike Sweetney?

Could Parker and Noel co-exist on the court? They're obviously very different types of big men. Obviously, if Tony Parker wants to come, you gotta take him no matter what. Would that affect us with Noel though

In mid-July, he said that Duke, Ohio State, and Memphis were his top 3. Not sure if that has changed. Seems to be a pretty open recruitment.

Duke fans do not think they will get him.

Nerlens Noel won't be affected by anyone going anywhere. He's just that kind of talent.

Would that affect us with Noel though Noel starts from the moment he steps on campus at any school in America. He'd actually complement Parker perfectly, in the same way he complements Georges Niang.

Oh god I know it's a very very very long shot but getting Tony Parker and Noel and Kyle Anderson would just be insane. Somehow work in a line up of Noel-Parker-Kyle-Porter-Markel(or someone) Damn.

I think a 3 player line-up of Noel, Parker, and Anderson would beat most teams of 5.
August is a time to dream...

We will be incredibly lucky to get any ONE of them!

I don't think luck has anything to do with it. But your point is a good one.

Even if they all come to gtown, they wont play on the court together. A team with TP KA and the current team in 2012 would be good enough for one of them to jump, i think. Not saying they should jump but they will.
But a 2013 roster of Fr Noel Soph Anderson Soph Parker Junio Otto Junior Wigginton Junior Jabril Junior Adams Senior Markel Senior Nate plus who ever is left should win a championship or JTIII should be fired.

No chance we get all three, but as long as we are dreaming, a line-up of Lil Kyle, Jabril (or Starks), Otto, Parker, Noel would be nice.
