" He is a guard version of the legendary Hoya Monster, Michael Graham. Jabril is mean, nasty, athletic and vicious on the court. While, nice, quiet and respectful off the court."
I'll take that any day of the week.

Gotta love the interview with his AAU coach and the video! Can't wait to see him in a Hoya Uni!

I'll take that any day of the week. That's def the money line, but I like this one too: "I think he is going to make history for Philly and we will be talking about him for a long time."

The Graham line is the best.
Also: "CDN: You’ve seen a lot of kids come through Philly, past and current. Where does Jabril stack up against his peers?
PG: I think Jabril has a chance to be as good as Wayne Ellington/Gerald Henderson were by the time they were sophomores in college."
I'll take it with a grain of salt coming from his coach, but still is serious talent (and love).

I don't think his jumper needs a ton of work. It looks like Drew Hall's jumper. Comparison ends there - Trawick has some Jessie Sapp in him. MOD NOTE: Those who wish to comment on the career of Ambassador's comparator Hoya (Jesse Sapp) for this recruit may do so in this thread. UPDATE: that thread now closed by request of the OP. Please keep discussion in this thread about Jabril Trawick.

Thanks, Dan.
I would like to hear/read more about his coach's favorable comparison of Jabril vs. college sophomores Wayne Ellington/Gerald Henderson. If the comparison holds true, JT3 just discovered another gem.

Does his quote mean that Jabril's ultimate ceiling is Ellington/Henderson's sophomore seasons? I find that quote to be somewhat odd. You usually don't create a comparison based on the mid-way development of another player.

Maybe he meant that by his sophomore year, he will have developed on par with those guys. Altho then that's very high praise. I'm excited by this kid, but I'm not expecting a 1st round pick. I'd be more than happy to be wrong about that though.

Pretty sure he meant it like chep is designating. Henderson and Ellington were Top 10 recruits; Jabril is behind where they were. He's saying he can (will) catch up to them by his sophomore year in college.
If he turns out to be anything the caliber of Gerald Henderson, that'd be fantastic. But I imagine there's a bit of optimism in that projection.

Wayne Ellington has a very special place in my heart thanks to him missing that wide-open 3 at the end of regulation in the GU-UNC Elite 8 game.

Yes, if a late Elite Eight Jabril Trawick three point attempt results in GU going to the Final Four, I'll take that, too.
Actually, though Jabril and Ellington don't seem to be similar, I'd take Ellington as well. Not nearly as valuable as Henderson, but still starter quality.

Georgetown commit Jabril Trawick was named MVP for Philly in the Eddie Griffin Challenge senior game today.
Hoya prospects amile jefferson and Kyle Anderson were named MVPs of the junior game.
TeamNJABC Jabril Traywick, 2011 from Abington Friends/Team Phenom and commited to Georgetown, has become a beast! Plays SO hard!

RobEngemann Thoroughly impressed by Jabril Trawick at the #EGC yesterday. He embodies a Ron Artest-type mindset.
