Enjoyed driving home and listening to WTOP's sports reporter, WHO WAS AT THE GAME, announce that senior Chris Wright was honored for his last game at Verizon. What game was he watching?

Liz Clarke in W. Post: Austin Freeman returns, leads Georgetown past CincinnatiEven before Georgetown's regular season finale tipped off Saturday, there was no question whom the Verizon Center crowd considered the Hoyas' most valuable player.
The stands were dotted with hand-lettered signs in support of junior guard Austin Freeman, who learned he had diabetes just five days earlier.
"Man, I was happy to have their support out there," Freeman said of the crowd. "It kept me going. I want to thank them a lot, too."
Freeman's return seemed to revitalize his teammates. Sophomore center Greg Monroe played with a ferocity he hasn't displayed in weeks, muscling his way to the basket for 19 points and 15 rebounds. [/blockquote]

CBS Sports: Freeman lifts G'town over CincyEXCERPT Six days after being taken to the hospital and diagnosed with diabetes, Freeman scored 24 points Saturday as the Hoyas clinched a first-round bye in the Big East tournament with a 74-47 win over Cincinnati in both teams' regular-season finale.
"I'm proud of him," teammate Greg Monroe said. "It's so serious. It's a life-changing thing that you find out, but once he was back on the court, he was the same. Off the court, he was the same. He just took it all in stride."
