Indeed.
I recommend that we all cleanse ourselves by observing a short period of interior silence.
I will now watch 'Inspector Lewis' on PBS because my second of silence said we will win.

Tuesday can't get here soon enough. I wish they were playing this game on Saturday.
(Also because the Hoyas never lose on Saturday)

I'd buy an argument that this becomes the biggest game of the season to date. Louisville will be favored as they should be. Lose here and I think we're starting at a 7th place finish in conference, diminished confidence at just the wrong time with a desperate inferior team (ND) coming in next, and things could really start to spiral. The ND game is as must-win as it gets, but we really need this Louisville win or we can forget any kind of favored path to the Sweet Sixteen.

I know you've made the case for them, but I dont buy Marquette at all. It might be moot if we dont get better than 10-8, but I dont see Marquette finishing better than that. If we beat L'ville, and Pitt holds on for the win against Marquette, we are in good shape for a 5 seed, with a rematch against Pitt looming. I guess, long story short, L'ville is a great oppty for us to move up, and I want to look at it that way I think we are better than they are, and can pull this one out.

I have zero enthusiasm for this game right now. Maybe by Tuesday I can muster some, but these last 2 losses are really starting to drain it out.

Is Louisville a big enough "name" to get this team's attention? Or will they crap away another game due to disrespecting an opponent? Then again--they couldn't get "up" to play Syracuse--only the biggest rival of Georgetown in Big East, and they peed away 30 minutes before deciding to compete.

team is inconsistent thats all thats the bottom line. They play D for a half and take a half off. The go into monroe like they should have been all year, then next game monroe will coast and the guards wont even look for him.
Theyll win 2 and lose two. There hot and there cold... They just dont keep the pressure on you.. Guess im just bummed, tough loss the comeback makes it even harder

The problem is Loserville sucks. We should pound these guys, yet we wont. Why?

A win at Louisville would right the ship - a little bit. But I don't see this team having the chops to beat a decent team in a tough away environment. Samuels was scary good the other night.
Those Rutgers and Sfla games really are killers. Maybe it's the ghost of last year still hovering above, but when does this slide begin putting us in the "bubble" discussion. Have to think we drop down to the 5-6 seed range in the next round of bracket projections. It's getting scary.

I wouldn't go that far but I will agree with the general sentiment that (1) this game is extremely important for seeding and our psyche, and (2) The Rutgers and USF losses are killers and inexcusable. If we crap out here, those two games will haunt us.

we win if we handle the 40 minutes of pressure they are going to throw at us. take care of the ball, be patient and get good looks.

The problem is Loserville sucks. We should pound these guys, yet we wont. Why? Because you think that calling Louisville "Loserville" is witty.
