Lack of information about when the announcement is may help us. That's very Georgetownish.

Sounds like a nice kid. Plus, if he wanted to be a Catholic priest, maybe he wants to come to the world's preeminent Catholic university.

Ah! I was excited to read the article and, given the fact that I've checked the Moses Abraham recruiting page 10x a day for the last month, I got overeager and jumped the gun.
JUST EXCITED FOR ANOTHER POTENTIALLY TALENTED BIG MAN IS ALL

Rumor has it that the Harvard of College Park has denied Abraham admission just as they denied Jeff, Austin, Chris, and others.

Per twitter...
insidethehall Just talked to @zosterma who spoke with Jon Boncore, advisor for Moses Abraham. Decision coming around midnight, according to Boncore.

Interesting insight on the behind the scenes in this article, including pop's involvement with Moses's recruitment. Take a look at the whiney comments made by Terp fans in the comment section, claiming JTII's roll in making a strong argument for GU is a recruiting violation! Let's hope we get good news today. We sure need frontcourt help for next season. Is that a recruiting violation? I had worried it was myself? I mean you're limited to a certain number of coaches that are allowed to go out on the trail and recruit right? It seems like it could be construed as a violation. On the other hand. If it were I don't think we'd have let it be so publicly thrown about. I mean the staff is too smart for that. So it must be on the up and up.

two posts ago said midnight.. why midnight? How about 8 pm, or 10 01 pm.. weird. Midnight is VERY FITTING for this CIRCUS! ;D (hopefully this time frame coincides with Boncore saying Jordan Goodman was a long ways from deciding, which we saw Goodman commit to Hoyas 3 days later) Pops can go watch anyone play--and he can talk to Boncore--he's not a coach/player. Danger with quotes, you can't understand HOW something was said "So, are you going to give him to my son"--do you honestly think Pops didn't say that with a grin/teasing? Everyone has this idea of him as a tyrant--and he's just a crusty old man who wears crocs and that stupid T-Mobile "throw in" hat that he calls "Thompson University gear". III and Staff didn't do anything illegal and if anything--Pops should be asked--why in the hell didn't he show this much interest in guys back when he let program fall off? THANK GOD FOR III! I love Pops-(especially when he cared) but the end of his era was as big of a mess as the "Error Era".

Good post RDF as usual. Excuse my ignorace but is This player worth the hype on this board? Is he impact FROSH/SOPH. Or is he more of a project that will progress each year and as upper classman will be a force??

I began to wonder whether they were timing it so Abraham's relatives in Nigeria could dial in, but then I figured out that it would be 6 a.m. there at midnight Eastern time. Bizarre stuff.

Pops can go watch anyone play--and he can talk to Boncore--he's not a coach/player. I dont think it is a violation either but is JT still on the gtown payroll? That may change things. But yeah he could still talk to Boncore, just not the Player.
