He is the one who should never leave home without a teleprompter. He borders on the tragicomic in his propensity for idiotic comments. I have my problems with Biden, but I find him far less dangerous than the two people who have most recently been judged to be most qualified in the Republican Party to be a heart beat from the presidency - Dick Cheney and Sarah Palin. The former, like Biden, is prone to irresponsible rhetorical flourishes, but, unlike Biden, makes such misstatements with American blood and treasure on the line. Palin, on the other hand, has not shone herself to be capable of cogent rhetorical flourishes. The most apt comparison I can make is to a contestant on Family Feud who is perhaps the weakest in a particular family. Regardless of how wrong her answers are, there is usually a family member, in this case a Republican, to clap with a Edited-eating grin and shout "good answer." Umm, if you're going to give Palin crap about not being a great orator, you should know the difference between shone and shown.

Screw 'em, Joe. Can't be any worse than the trickle down theory! Aside from the fact that "trickle down" is a term only used by leftists, I guess you would be against the types of numbers we saw in the 80's when tax revenues went up when tax rates went down? You must be one of those people Obama is counting on to believe that the surtax on the "rich" will help fund his schemes.

The good news is that orators, defined as public speakers, need not have great spelling. I'm sure any Sarah Palin fan could appreciate the use of emoticons, which have been known to appear in her prepared remarks as a Governor.

Screw the rich. What have they ever done for us? ;D And what has the GOVERNMENT ever done for us? Biden does have a nice case of foot-in-mouth syndrome. It's keeping comedians in business now that Bush is gone and Palin has quit the scene.

Way to ignore my point by making some sweeping generalization.

I'm pleased to see that some of you are enjoying yourselves at jovial Joe's expense, but the fact remains that Biden will have to go a long, long, long, long, long way to match GWB's penchant for misspeaking, and unlike GWB, Biden is only the President of Vice.

I haven't been able to find the names of Joe Biden's brain surgeons, who performed his aneurysm surgeries in 1988, but I know that they were at Walter Reed at the time. If anyone wants to call the Associated Press and see if they wrote down the names when they reviewed Biden's medical files, I'm sure you could get some names and then page them, assuming they're still alive. Wait, that's not what this thread is about?
