Cool thanks. I wasn't sure if we played every year, twice a year, every other year etc... I also didn't know if we alternated between here and there. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't like those comments such as Auburn not having lost in Gainesville for 16 years, when they had only played here twice during that time or the sort ... I want to say that on average we play Mexico probably about 2 times a year all things considered. Besides WC qualifying and Gold Cup, etc we are always good for a friendly every year. For financial reasons presumably, the Gold Cup games and Friendlys are always in the US too so I would say most US Mexico games are in the US.

¡No chingan con los EE. UU., culeros!
Fun game. We were lucky Mexico missed some big opportunities, but on the whole I thought the US played well. Someone really needs to tell Frankie Hedjuk he's 35 though. I love his energy, and he had some very nice defensive stops tonight, but he consistently tries to play beyond his abilities when pushing up.

Michael Bradley has pretty much shut everyone up who a year or two ago was saying he was only playing because his dad was the coach.
Great win.

Is it true that Tim Howard will miss the Honduras game because of that yellow card? If so that makes life difficult

Guzan and Hannemann are very good keepers to say nothing of Friedel (who is retired from US team) who is probably one of the best 5 keepers in the world even now. If we had that much depth on the field, we'd be one of the best teams in the world. I've thought Hedjuk's time with the Nats should be over too- but I think he was just awesome last night.

I'm excited to see Guzan at goal..A good chance for him to get some action on the national level.
I too was suprised with Hedjuk's play last night but still question whether he should get the nod in 2010

I don't begin to know the personel remotely as well as many of you, but I thoroughly enjoyed the game. To me it sort of looked like Mexico gave up as soon as the added/injury time started. Not surprisingly, we put the game away with that second goal.

I don't think there are any plans for Hedjuk to play in 2010...this was a stop gap measure until Dolo is healthy.

Disapointing to see how many Mexicans got tickets. Can't we stop this? Clearly, we need to build a smaller on-campus stadium.

KG: Very impressed that you were able to drive back right after game! What a trooper...
I left DC early Wednesday morning, got to the fairgrounds surrounding Crew Stadium right as the skies opened up, slept a little, and got back to DC in time for my 6pm Evidence class. Lets just say I did not learn much tonight...
Hope to see alot of Hoyas at RFK for the qualifier this October! Though I'd really like to go visit the new SSS in Salt Lake this summer too...
