I can't think of much that either Romney or Gingrich has said lately that is even worth listening to, much less reacting too. You mean other than the whole moonbase thing? Georgetown-related idea to solve the housing crunch : MOON CAMPUS. Also - if the moon voted Democratic, would Gingrich really make it a state?

Georgetown-related idea to solve the housing crunch : MOON CAMPUS. Don't give the neighbors any ideas! On the other hand, the GUTS busses would be really quiet on the moon. You know, the more I think about it, that solves almost all of the anti-GU complaints. No trash problem - it just floats away. Plenty of space for more dorms. And no worries about noise from drunk students because IN SPACE NO ONE CAN HEAR YOU SCREAM!!!

I wonder if the neighbors will be okay with GU building a space ladder to the moon. It'll go a little higher than that smokestack.

Continuing the non-election related discussion - that map confirms the great divide between St. Louis and Kansas City. Back to the election - do you think David Axelrod let out a little squeal of joy when heard Romney's statement about the very poor?

Good to see the generic industry term, "soft drink," coming in at well under 10%. My vote goes to any politician who does not stand idly by while such terms Nebraskafy America's regional dialects.

Anyone who calls 8.3% a strong jobs report should be flagged on "Barry O" flavored Kool Aid.
Real unemployment is likely north of 11% when one discounts temporary jobs and factors in those who have abandoned the search. However, the willing supplicants in the media will trumpet this latest Presidential triumph.
Look around with your eyes and see if things are improving.

I may have misunderstood the segment on CNBC, but I think they credited the stock market surge to irrationally exuberant NYers spending this Sunday's winnings today. If God's nephew Tom Brady wins on Sunday, expect the market to tumble significantly on Monday.

I'll wager that Obama will find a way to approve the keystone pipeline and to change the directive on contraceptives in health care plans to accomodate Catholic Church concerns well before the election.

I'll wager that Obama will find a way to approve the keystone pipeline and to change the directive on contraceptives in health care plans to accomodate Catholic Church concerns well before the election. The former would shock me. The latter wouldn't. Obama can't change his mind on the Keystone pipeline b/c he needs the environmental groups to be fired up. That's why he originally postponed his decision on Keystone to after the election. I'm not sure politically how he gets out of the Catholic Chuch box he's put himself in though. I think that recent Koman kerfluffle (just wanted to use the word) showed that the Planned Parenthood types are pretty powerful and not someone Obama wants to anger before a close election. That being said, I think that the type of people (independents) who are going to swing this election are the type of people who aren't going to be too happy about his decision. (No idea if there is poll data out there on this, but its never a good thing for your candidacy when Priests are calling you out in their homilies)

Everything Obama does, it's because it's what Jesus would do.
Didn't you know that?
;D
Newt Gingrich, on the other hand, follows a different philosophy: WWCD
What Would Cthulhu Do?
EDIT: sorry, sorry, sorry. Couldn't help myself. I promise to focus on the common enemy until after tomorrow night. Judean People's Front and all that.
(though those WWCD t-shirts are pretty damn funny).
