Jindal endorses Perry. Pretty disappointed in Jindal. Just shows how slim the pickings really are.

Couple of interesting reports on the Prez's plan.
Rasmussen said supporters were 2% more than opposers 38%-36%. But when you parsed out positions those that thought government spending was the way to create jobs was significantly outvoted by those who believe cutting government regulations is the better way to create jobs now.
With the Prez bringing out warmed over tax proposals to pay for the bill I doubt there will be a lot of traction. Even on the payroll tax cut the Hill had a report that several conservative Pubs and Liberal Dems were uniting in opposition due to the impact on Social Security. Didn't say if it was enough to scuttle the idea but would be interesting to see if the Dem side might get credit for stopping even that idea.

I thought that the GOP taking the NY special election might be a sign of trouble for Obama next year. I was wrong. Apparently, this district is not the Democrat stronghold I thought it was:
“It’s a very difficult district for Democrats,” said Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

What completely moronic spin.
Hey, Debbie Downer, here's what you say: "Uhhh, that was Anthony Weiner's district. So, no, we're not really surprised we lost it. We'll get it back."
This has the added benefit of also probably being the truth. I don't know for sure about the "get it back" part, but even though Republicans did their best to nationalize this, and I'm sure there's some level of Obama referendum in the result, the fact of the matter is, if Wiener doesn't misbehave, not only is there no special election, but Republicans have very little shot at this seat ever.

I mean, any district that's willing to send Andrew Peterson to Congress is clearly a Republican one.

Well, the idiocy of the site itself is one thing.
I just love that YouTube commercial, because it reminds me of the merchandising commercial from It's Always Sunny. (which they were definitely thinking of when they made this; no way they were not).

That is funny. I wonder if Gohmert will treat it like a url on the web and demand a $100K payment or so to sell it back to Obama. Take the money and put it in the Pub congressional campaign fund Would love to be a fly on the wall in either Pelosi's office or in the WH when they try to explain this one.

It's too bad Rahm isn't still around--that would be a legendary tirade ;D

AttackWatch.com and @attackwatch are getting absolutely obliterated on the Interwebs today.
And deservedly so.
It's really pretty entertaining, if anyone is bored at work like me.

This one might be favorite so far: twitter.com/#!/TheRyanSipple/status/114075699828097024 Apparently Solyndra is not an isolated example of this Administration exerting pressure for political gain: "The four-star Air Force general who oversees Air Force Space Command walked into a highly secured room on Capitol Hill a week ago to give a classified briefing to lawmakers and staff, and dropped a surprise. Pressed by members, Gen. William Shelton said the White House tried to pressure him to change his testimony to make it more favorable to a company tied to a large Democratic donor." bit.ly/qEUD9COf course, I found a link the story on Drudge, and it comes from a conservative site, so please discount it completely.

Say what you want about Perry, but his team can produce a pretty good ad: I'm pretty pumped about whatever movie that's a preview for, just as I was pumped for Transformers. Doesn't mean I want robot cars fighting in our cities.
