I actually went on EBay a couple of months ago looking for a working Intellivision and the football game. In any case, you probably just weren't any good at it, and that's why you didn't like it.

An additional story that adds some more detail. I agree with the generation of wussies, but some people may want to reel it in a little. I think that makes a lot more sense. I said all along that if there is a feasible step up league, then that is fine. In other words, if it wasn't too expensive, or too far away or impractical for some other reason. If he has a legitimate alternative league, then I see no real issue. I still don't like the idea of trying to "avoid" competition or having a winner and a loser. I think that mentality is counterproductive, but this is a different situation entirely.
