Much as it pains me to interrupt this ongoing monologue which is really just entertaining as all get out, ;D I don't think there's anything official on Kenner yet, lic.
Judging from previous years, I think we can expect things to kick off somewhere around the second or third weekend in June.
Which means we'll probably get a schedule of games in sometime in July.
My recommendation is around June 15 or so, just start standing outside of McDonough every day and bang as loud as you can on the doors. ;D
With any luck, Lorry Michel will come out to yell at you. (private joke between me and our esteemed and distinguished trainer)

Any word on whether Jeff will play? I heard that he, our 4 graduating seniors graduates, and Kevin Durant were playing around McDonough a few days before graduation.

Seriously, when does it usually start? Late June/Early July, right?

it wont start till the frosh get up for the community scholars program (which begins second session summer which starts the 7th of july... so right around then.)

It starts before then--there are usually one or two games that are prior to the community scholars program. Local frosh are usually there though

you're right TBird... i forgot last year the locals (Chris, Austin, and Nikita) were all there late June playing Kenner... wattad joined in july...
So you'll probably see Jason at the beginning (maybe henry) and then Henry and Greg will join the action in july.

I don't think professionals are allowed to play, though I'm not 100% on this, since I know Jeff played last year. I hope that if he does play, he doesn't play on Tombs with the freshman--it'd be stupid to have Monroe or Sims sitting on the bench behind Jeff.

If Jeff or KD play, I doubt they will be regulars. The folks who have played at least a year in the league were always off and on, even when I think it wasn't an issue.
But yeah, I'd prefer all our current players to get a lot of PT.

Last year IIRC the Kenner League ran from July 1 to July 29.

Has anyone seen a Kenner schedule yet? Seems like in past years, the teams/schedule were out by mid-June. I'm about to make my summer visit to DC and was hoping to catch a few games.
