www.thehoya.com/node/16086I think Jason Clark was playing as well, but I couldn't be absolutely sure so I didn't include it in this. If he was the guy I thought he was, he looked pretty good. I know a few other posters were there, so they can share more, hopefully.

Wow, awesome to hear. Great article, hoyals, thanks for the update. I wonder what Neitzel was doing on campus. I don't know why, but I've always liked the kid. Just seems like an under the radar, non-flashy, hardworking kid.
Oh, I forgot to mention, he also has a very "cerebral" game. Ahem, yes, that should do...

I was able to watch for a little while and did get one picture: img65.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0397oj7.jpgKevin Durant is on the right wing. Dajuan is in the corner. Neitzel has the ball guarded by Chris Wright. I think that's Jeff and Roy under the basket, Pat on the left wing, and maybe Julian Vaughn guarding Durant? Not sure.

HoyaJake, I think you're right on. There was, however, a Julian Vaughn look alike -- no idea who this guy was -- and I'm not sure if that is him or the man himself on KD. Vaughn was wearing black shorts with gray trim, and obviously there's no way to tell if that is the case in this picture.

Carlos of HoyaReport has been providing us with an extremely detailed report of the pickup games. He had a lot of great things to say abough Vaughn and Wright. But he spent most of the space in his posts praising the play of Nikita whom he thinks will be a major factor for the tam next season. It was a treat to read.

Gerald Riley is the guy guarding DaJuan in HoyaJake's photo.
I believe the other big guy (aside from the ones we're familiar with + Vaughn) was Darien Townes, former Georgetown recruit from the area who went on to play at Arkansas. Not 100% sure on that.

So we've got Gerald Riley, Darian Townes, Ronny Thompson, and Carlos said AKD and Lil' Trenton Hiller were in the house.
If they can recruit Victor Samnick, Wesley Wilson, or Drew Hall, I will go ahead and call in the time off from work right now. ;D

Vaughn is in the picture. Seemed like Neitzel and PE JR really got along well at the 3pt/Dunk Contest--and think it's cool he'd want to come out to DC--but I'm sure it's for NBA prep with John Duren--who has helped numerous kids--both Hoyas and non-Hoyas. Remember Andrew Bogut came out to work with Baba--and so many you can't begin to name them--but great pic and thanks for sharing.

I love what one guy wrote in one blog about Neitzel's reaction to Ewing after the dunk. It went something like "if Neitzel had done that to Candace Parker rather than Ewing I'm sure it would have been criminal/or illegal." Something like that.

There is no secret pick-up ball info. Dozens of people have been watching the runs, so you don't have to waste your money on a Rivals subscription . All the guys are playing well. Vaughn has been showing good shooting touch. But like we have already discussed, his conditioning is horrible and his body and game are soft right now. C. Wright has fully regained his quicks. Nikita has gotten stronger and is holding his own better than last year.

Plus no one's report of the pickup games have been as detailed as Carlos'. Not even close. The link at the top of this thread provided me just 1/10 of the information I got from HR. For stuff like that I will always give a shout out.
