I was hoping I wouldn't have to deal with Jeanne Zelasko until next season. I dunno why, something about her rubs me the wrong way. She's like the Tim McCarver of studio shows, I guess. . I saw how Bill (Sports Guy) Simmons mused about Fox's announcers: the son of a Cardinals broadcast legend (Joe Buck) and a former Cardinals catcher (Tim McCarver). Said Simmons: "Why not just go the whole way and have Ozzie Smith, Whitey Herzog and Dizzy Dean as sideline reporters?" Humor aside, the Cardinals are a proud franchise and it was good to see them back in the Series. With their talent, they'll be back, and their fans are some of the best going.

The only thing comparable in terms of amount of people I've ever been to were the '92 and '96 inaugurations. The Red Sox parade was a lot more viewable than the inauguration parades I've been to though because the police allowed you to be on the street in spitting distance of the duck boats.
I thought it was interesting that Menino changed the route and time on Friday night. I'm guessing that the final route was planned all along, but just wasn't announced until the night before because of security concerns.

I'm pretty sure that the Celtics were originally from NY...just saying. Look way back in your history books.

I got two pages of posts, about a dozen pictures, and numerous articles that say you're wrong.
