Our program is in flux and there is lots to talk about. I may or may not agree with the rest of the posters, but I'd much prefer to talk about the issues facing the Hoyas than whatever is currently up the butt of Buff, Hifi, Brasky, Tbird or some of these other clowns. Get over it. Dude, YB you are probably the biggest toolshed in existence, so i generally don't take anything you say seriously, but please don't lump me into a group with hifigator.

Why are we wasting our time on this thread? I bought some bricks today, who wants to join me in starting to build the practice facility?

Thoughts (sorry I didn't share these before this was posted):
1. While I do miss the old days of Hoyatalk, I most certainly do NOT miss the "white jersey era." If the Hoyas being successful means this is a little bit less familiar, less intimate forum, I'll take it. I would like it if we could have more of doseofreality's diatribes, TC's haikus, Tony Bethel's Uncle, and on and on and on, but I generally still enjoy reading opinions from lots of Hoya fans.
2. I don't have the time to read and post as much as I used to. During the heat of the season, I can spend whole days on this board. In the off-season, I stay logged in, but I generally check it out at the beginning and end of the day (unless I notice something that needs an immediate response - like hockey is "on life support" - a-holes!) Maybe I'm busier, maybe my guilty conscience is telling me to do something more productive and, yes, maybe I've just read everything 16 times already in previous threads about the same subject.
3. I have no problem with the proliferation of more Hoya fans here. Trolls continue to be a problem, but that's why God created "Click to Ignore."
4. Finally, yes, people here are way too sensitive. So is the world we live in (see Imus, Don). Now, I normally don't get into it with any posters because, come on, it's a message board. Plus, I usually just like posting to relate something I (and usually only I) think is funny. I have my opinions, but I prefer hashing those out over beers than in cyberspace. This is a fun space for me, and I am forever indebted to DFW for creating it, so I do think, in general, people need to lighten up.
5. Country Sweet wings kick the ass of anything you've got up there in Sabreland, buddy! And don't you forget it!

No, fans who were fans when the team sucked cannot be called bandwagon fans, regardless of when they went to Georgetown. That's the worst bit of logic I've ever heard.

It's like when you discover this small time band, and you become a diehard fan. When the band gets huge and everyone loves it, does it make it a little less fun to follow because it's no longer only yours? Sure. Should it annoy you this much? No. I haven't been familiar with this board as much as most of you probably have, I only started lurking on it my Freshman year in 2000. I can't honestly say there's that much difference in the level of discourse.

Has jumping the shark jumped the shark? No. But asking if the phrase "jumped the shark" has jumped the shark has jumped the shark. ;D

Dude, YB you are probably the biggest toolshed in existence, so i generally don't take anything you say seriously, but please don't lump me into a group with hifigator. Man, you never met me, dont know me and never posted anything worth reading. But I do know enough about you to say that brasky=BUM and that you belong right in there with flamers like hifi. Flame on, buddy.

But I do know enough about you to say that brasky=BUM and that you belong right in there with flamers like hifi. You take that back! There is only one man who =BUM, and brasky is not John Feinstein.

everybody knows Motorola Q is for girls!
EDIT: This is the 2nd reference that I have seen to your lame little PDA. No one cares that you are so pathetic that you read and post non-stop from your little device so stop mentioning it!
BraskyIII's posts are 100% better and funnier than anything that you have ever put up here. Now get back over to the facilities thread and keep recycling the same horse dung that you have spewed since-well, forever and leave the funny to those that can bring it!

guy,
you taught a ballroom dancing class. you performed a ballroom dancing routine at halftime of a division one men's college basketball game. you referred to the ballroom dancers as "my kids." you live in spotsylvania and defend that life choice vehemently. i know enough about you to know that you are toolish beyond words.
you are like 3 days away from JTIII filing a restraining order against you. i actually heard he refers to you as "that shifty geek who is always talking about a practice facility on campus"
