Dear Reston Gestapo:
I confess I was surprised to learn that despite the passage of six decades, Nazi war criminals not only live on, but continue to wreak havoc upon the daily lives of ordinary citizens. I received your recent letter of censure which described the deficiencies of my townhouse--which is to say the townhouse purchased by me and about which I might be said to exercise some control were it not for the fact that I decided to move to the Third Reich--with interest and significant consternation. I find it intriguing that while neither I nor any of my neighbors nor the two different people who offered me contracts on the townhouse--owned by me--the first day it was on the market found anything particularly alarming about the state of the paint on the side of my house and the wood condition of certain sections of the exterior, you have in your wisdom decided that I should pay enormous sums of money to rectify these previously unnoticed issues rather than use the funds to, say, feed and clothe my infant.
I had previously erroneously believed that your political system was fully consumed in the fires of 1945, but it does bring some small measure of nostalgia to me to know that despite the leveling of your cities, you have the determination to maintain your core beliefs, which include capricious and villainous law enforcement directed against average citizens who might be tempted to live their lives without your oppressive knowledge and permission.
So yes, I will pay several thousand dollars to fix non-existent problems and glorify your name in the process. The almighty representative of the National Socialist Reston Workers' Party. But, and if I can say this without encouraging a knock at my door in the dead of night, I'm not happy about it.
P.S. Can you BELIEVE the Hoyas have won NINE games in a row??
