The article appeared in today's NY Times.
But, it was about Georgetown College in Kentucky cutting ties with the Baptist Church.
It is interesting, nonetheless, to see how even the Christian/Baptist schools are feeling the lack of academic and intellectual freedom due to the influence of religion. Nonetheless, I wish the article had pointed out that Georgetown College of Georgetown, KY is not to be confused with Georgetown University of Washington DC.
