Every time I watch a movie and the main character mentions wanting to get into Georgetown, graduating from Georgetown, or going to Georgetown Law I enjoy it a little bit more.
I just watched Enemy of the State yesterday where Will Smith plays an affluent big shot labor lawyer and mentions going to G-town law a bunch of times. So I started this thread for people to brainstorm other movies mentioning Georgetown or taking place on campus or in the immediate area.
The ones that I can think of off the top of my head are:
The Exorcist- obviously takes place on G-town's campus and is a tradition to watch on Halloween.
Enemy of the State- As mentioned above, Will even runs into a G-town law alumni.
The Girl Next Door- Recent film about a kid who dreams about getting into Georgetown and meets the former porn star who moves next door and hi-jinks ensue as he prepares for a speech to win a scholarship.
National Treasure – The main character played by Nick Cage is a brilliant American History scholar who got his major in American history at Georgetown, an education which may or may not lead him to the greatest treasure of all time.
Also if you can think of a movie depicting a stupid or inept Syracuse grad or student, although Hollywood might have tried to stay away from that reality cliche.

Election -- Tracy Flick ends up at GU.
Shattered Glass -- About real-life GULaw student and New Republic writer.
Syriana -- Saudi prince has Ph.D. from GU.
Pellican Brief -- Don't remember if GU is mentioned but parts are filled in McDonough (GULC) and EBW Library.
St. Elmo's Fire -- Duh.
Exocist III -- PEI makes an appearance.
He's Got Game -- JTII has a cameo.
Above the Rim -- Hero dreams of attending GU (and does).

I've always wondered this about you: was that movie auto-biographical, or just semi-autobiographical? I'll betcha (when he stopped drooling over Elisha Cuthbert) that it would be fun to watch that one w/ 007 to see him get angry at every laughably inaccurate/bizarre depiction of GTown, it's campus, and it's memorabilia.

There's a movie I made with 'Bridge's old girlfriend and her roommate that took place in Henley 12...

LOL! That's great, I'll make sure to tell the guys that are living there this year... American President had shots of the neighborhood.

Deep Impact has a scene coming across the Key Bridge (the disaster movie, not the Henle 12 movie).
And I believe The Air Up There has references to Georgetown basketball as well.

And while we're at it, let's not forget the West Wing graduation. Not a movie, but one of the most clear shots of campus you'll find.

The Recruit-Georgetown neighborhood is mentioned, and there's a quick scene of Colin Farrell down by the Potomac with the Key Bridge in the background.

True Lies was filmed in the neighborhood while I was at GU. Georgetown Park is clearly the mall he goes in (the entrance on M closest to GU) when he goes inside to the restroom for a shootout. The ensuing chase spills out onto the sidewalk between Dean & Deluca (which was under construction at the time if I remember right) and Georgetown Park. The chase pretty much leaves the area after that and I think the Marriott Ahnuld takes the horse to the roof of is the one in Bethesda that can be seen from the Beltway.
I did see Ahnuld around the area when that was being filmed. He had a Hummer (H-1) way back then ('92 or '93) and I passed it as a passenger on the G2 on that little stretch of Wisconsin the bus route takes (or it did then.)
A friend of mine was local (Potomac, MD) and actually knew the family who rented a house to the family during filming. He figured it out when he was walking by their house and saw Maria and the kids and a bodyguard come out.

Are you saying that movie would be autobiographical because the character kinda resembles me (but not really) or because of my relationship with the good looking ex-porn star next door who is roughly my same age?

In Season 2 or 3 of The Sopranos, Carmela mentions Georgetown several times in reference to Meadow choosing a school

Personally, I thought Mr. Dabone's work in "I Cream on Jeannie" was excellent. His performance in "Whoriental Sex Academy 6" wasn't bad either. www.imdb.com/name/nm0196432/

That link made my day and will possibly end my career - Mssr. DaBone seems to be signed on to a lot of long running franchises such as "Hot Bods and Tail Pipe 20" and the high-grossing "Trailer Trash Nurses" series.
