A group of students from the Georgetown Events Committee are meeting with Martha on Friday to discuss, among other things, moving the SAC event to allow more students to attend the first football game. Wow, that would be GREAT. I won't get my hopes too high yet though.

in terms of getting kids to the game, hb not only has to rock the bbq but also come up with something fabulous for its table at the sac fair. what if yall do facepaint for kids who plan on leave the sac fair for the game? or handout vouchers for free hot dogs at the hb cookout? or beat brown t-shirts (or something slightly less cheesy and more witty than that)? something/anything to let the people at sac fair know that there's a game going on.
all that said, i think that grabbing peoples attention at the sac fair is probably just as important to hb (as a basically fledging organization) as is getting people to the game. its one of the first times freshmen (and many upperclassmen for that matter) are going to be exposed to the new and improved hoya blue.

or beat brown t-shirts (or something slightly less cheesy and more witty than that)? How about: -- Bury the Bears or -- Down with Brown (Not my best work, but thought I'd get the ball rolling)
