You know what? I'm finally going to say it. These prediction threads are stupid. Who cares what the final score is as long as the hoyas win. Just say, the I think the hoya's are going to win, or lose. Nobody wins a prize for getting the score right. You crazy internet people.

Just say, the I think the hoya's are going to win, or lose. Nobody wins a prize for getting the score right. You crazy internet people. Noone who posts in these threads has ever claimed to want a prize, nor have the threads mentioned promises of a prize. None of us really "cares what the final score is as long as the Hoyas win", but we do enjoy finding creative ways to label such inane "predictions". I, for one, enjoy the obscure Dennis Miller-esque references for the most part, but my hat goes off to Formerhoya for his comment above, which could apply to ALL of our games this year! |
