I have been a Hoya faithful for 20 plus yrs. I attended my first Gtown home game about 3 yrs ago. There opponent was Cuse. I was extremely surprised to find that the enthusiasm was less than Par. I found myself being stared at by the people around me when I showed my extreme enthusiasm whenever a bad call was made or the Hoyas did something great (the Hoyas won that game by the way). I come from a town where people are VERY enthusiastic about there team (Louisville Cardinals). Last year my girlfriend surprised me with tickets to the Duke game. I was more than embarassed when there were way more Duke fans in attendance than Hoya fans. At a Gtown home game!! No matter how bad the team was, they still deserved support from there fans. I am not posting this to offend anyone so please do not take it that way. I am very excited that Louisville will be in the Big East next year so I can show my support for the Hoyas at least once a year I hope. The future is very bright people so lets show our support. This means you alumni!!! GO HOYAS!!!

good post louisville, we definitely need the alumni to start attending in greater numbers and start being more enthusiastic at games.
We also need to start reaching out to the DC community much more. I would hope that with local stars like Jeff Green and Roy Hibbert they would be excited to support the team.
