The last time I was at the DC armory was in the 80s for the battle of DC GOGO bands and what a fun time it was.

I got no sympathy for the PITT players AS THEY were kind of arrogant all season. ANOTHER FLAME OUT.

I think its a good hire personally and as a few people have noted and sorry to say again but I remember back in the Day when that ROSEMONT HORIZON used to ROCK when they were good. I remember that game when Alonzo almost got into a fight and i will never forget in that game Al McGuire said whoever wins this game will move into the top ten and unfortunately Gtown lost the game. I remember it being on NBC. I hope they go back to wearing the checkerboard uniforms hahahaha

PDR I agree with you about the fatigue comment and does it play a roll maybe just a little. I remember reading and seeing a few interviews for other conference tournaments where they asked players about the fatigue factor. Everyone one of them said in AAU during the summer they play a string of games pretty much all day long and if you think about it, most of those games are not very structured so they are probably doing a lot of running and gunning.

DHOYA and anyone else based on what i read this morning on websites about the 96 team format can someone explain in detail on what days these games would be played. The way i read it you would have games on Tuesday and Wednesday now. Will they still have NIT and other basketball tournaments?

When watching the SH game last night and i saw the comments made by Mitchell i busted out laughing CLASSIC:
"It's hard to stay consistent as a player, when the coach isn't consistent."
"There are people three rows behind the bench who are coaching the team."

the_way i agree with you about PUKE, they are like the Notre Dame of Football. The fans are very arrogant win when they are winning but act like punks when they loose and find all types of insane excuses for it. They have the fan base but also another fan base who enjoys watching them get PUNKED in basketball. You would be surprised at the number of places i worked and every time we have an office pool every says GLAD TO SEE DUKE LOOSE

Hey Guys sorry to be uninformed but can you please explain these associations that a number of schools belong too? example: Association of American Universities research School
What does it mean for the general undergrad student body? Does Gtown belong to any university associations?

KG,
You are right about Danny Dome. That rumor has been floating around for years about a retractable roof stadium on the old RFK site. On sports radio they speculated that for the past few years The skins are waiting to the lease expires so they can move back to DC.

Yes a huge fan of the hoyas and personally I have never been to BET. I have attended few Knicks games but never BET. I remember once going to MSG during the BET but didn't have tickets but yes the atmosphere was amazing from the outside and just hanging out around the arena. I only ask the question because other conferences rotate and was wondering if this was ever talked about and not trying to talk down MSG.
I guess another reason while watching the ACC tournament several commentators mentioned how empty the Georgia Dome seemed to be during the games.

I know this topic has been mentioned before but can someone please explain to me why the BET is held every year at MSG and not rotated around to arenas? It seems every other conference rotates its conference tournament to different locations which is great for fans.
Hoya for life!
