It wouldn't be the most balanced team, but to be honest no one would beat a team of AI, Ewing, Monroe, Shelton, and Freeman

Thought that this would be an interesting topic. There may be some questions over what position I put some players at, but I did what I thought was best. If you had a $15 budget, who would make your roster? PG SG SF PF C $5- AI Sleepy Williams Sweetney Ewing $4- Braswell Wingate Green Othella Alonzo $3- M. Jackson DSR Otto Monroe Hibbert $2- Joey Brown John Duren Bill Martin Sims Mutombo $1- J. Wallace A. Freeman Craig Shelton B. Bowman Merlin Wilson
My 5 would be Jackson, Wingate, Shelton, Monroe, and Alonzo

If you go over there (ESPN) now you'll see that just below the headline is a story about how Duke is the preseason #1 for NEXT season. Classic. Sad. Lame. Villanova was #2 on that list. They may not be as good next year, but they will have more talent than this year's team as long as Hart returns. Eric Paschall and Omari Spellman are both future NBA players

My question is does this dude have four years of eligibility or does his age prevent him from that? 4 years of eligibility left from what I read

Honestly if we really think seriuosly about the fouling problem, outside of some incremental changes that the staff can perhaps impliment I'm far from convinced given the roster that much can be done. I may be in the minority who feel that its very difficult at this point to impliment basic defensive skills in a group who as a whole are incredibly lacking or simply unable to play defense with their feet. Its not about speed or quickness, its not about effort, though both certainly important and key, Its about simple defensive skills that should have been developed from the time they started playing 10 years ago and reinforced at this level. The fact, which is so clear to me anyways, is that the staff has not for the last four or five years evaluated and signed players with some basic skills. Apparently, its not on the check list. If it isn't how can we expect these same coaches to teach it. We use to have a very effective D. Have the staff changes over the last 3,4 5 years given us whats so evident to all? I am really hoping that Jagan Mosley can come in and guard at a high level. Given the fact that he has been coached by the best high school coach in America, he should be a good defender next year.

Was anyone at the game tonight? It looked like a big crowd but hard to tell for sure on TV. Game was a sellout. I think the attendance was 19,812 to be exact

Seton Hall could be a threat in the Big East. They have a great nucleus of sophomores with Whitehead, Delgado, Desi rodriguez, and Khadeen Carrington. I expect them to make the tournament. I will give myself some credit for believing in the Pirates from day 1.

Does anyone know if we are still planning on playing Virginia in the BB&T Classic next year? They are likely to be a preseason top 5 team along with Maryland. There is no doubt in my mind that we will have the #1 schedule in the country with UConn, Cuse, UVA, Maryland, Siena, and 2 of the other members of the 2k Classic.

Butler has landed St Bonaventura guard Jordan Gathers (nephew of Hank). He would have been a nice transfer for Georgetown to provide depth at the Guard spot. He averaged 8 points last season but is coming off hip surgery.

Jessie Govan is currently playing in the state semifinals and is STRUGGLING. We will get to see him on ESPNU against Oak Hill, though 24 points in the Wings finals win. I was about to congratulate him. Knocked off the 2-time defending state champs. He only had 3 in the semis but put on a show tonight
