Ask Calipari about strategies to win with freshman in today’s game. Which is why you need to develop a "core" of 3/4 year players. Tough in the NIL days, but possible. Yes- a new coach will need time to get there, but if he sticks to his plan and doesn't panic.... Been saying this for years!

I was really rooting for Rowan. I think he improved over the course of the season, but its still questionable if he has the talent to be a starting PG in the Big East. Defense just suffers so much and he turns the ball over a ton. If we are bringing in another guard or 2, the writing is probably on the wall. I wish him well, maybe he can start for a solid mid major program. I really hope we keep Fielder. Me too. Wish the young man well. This is a crazy world of college basketball! What are we doing? Playing checkers?!

We should not—and must not—underestimate the level of play in the conference. Our last coach did that and got burned every year. Having poor people and communication skills did not help either! We have to build by over-building! We need to keep our core players together for more than two years. I have said this so many times, but we need some bruiser-type players who are tough grinders. Cook is not far off. Let’s build on what we have! Go get em Cooley!

One of the few games I have seen this year. Discouraging to be behind by 10 to start. It didn't seem that the Hoyas would ever score. From then on the Hoyas made a game out of it. Some careless plays did not help. But I like Fielder! Too bad he got caught up in foul trouble. But a good game to watch, but I missed the last 7 minutes, because my tape ran out. I would have been frustrated anyway. Well then, you missed the best three point shooting by the Hoyas in decades! Just hoping that this is all a warm up to tournament play.

Should be a key player next season especially if he tightens his handle Imagine how good he could be playing alongside a top flight point guard. Hoping that is RB one day. He is playing alongside a top flight point guard. As a matter of fact, he is playing alongside two! Give them a little time, my friend! Give them a little time!

Best shooter on the team! Can be the go-to guy or the facilitator! Smart! Improving just like everybody else! Leave Epps alone!

An area of noticeable improvement for our guys is turnovers. Hopefully this will pay of dividends in the tournament.

Cook is a work horse! Happy to hear that he has another year. With the development of of guys that we have right now, and adding those we have coming in, I think we will be in good shape. Hopefully the portal has one or two surprises for us!

A tale of two halves! At least we scored 90+. I think that’s the first time this year!? Nope. 91 v. X on the road. Saw that one in person. Also Lemoyne I think but their 1st D1 game. Okay, stand corrected. Thank you, sir!

No positives. Lost a 13 point lead at halftime and gave up three open layups in the final 1:37. Seven of DePaul's last nine attempts were layups or within five feet. No fear. The positive is that we won when we easily could have lost. Cook is just a disaster on defense. I do not see how a Georgetown team with him logging big minutes at the 5 will be good defensively. His time needs to be limited next year. As far as Massoud, he’s a disaster. I don’t understand why he’s playing anything more than spot minutes. Yes, I am very disappointed in Massoud. Not a reliable three point shot. He seems to be regressing rather than progressing. Seems like he has lost his confidence.

That was a must win game for DePaul. Glad we came out on top. The same can be said about us - it was a must win game for the Hoyas DePaul had zero wins coming into this game. They were playing on their home court. New coach. I think they really wanted this one. The real point, though, was that it made this game competitive and more entertaining!

What is killing us as Hoya fans is not being able to get out from behind the eighth ball! We have not had a solid, seasoned team where players have played together for as much as three years. For the last 5-6 years it has been decimate to rebuild. And we have never managed to rebuild. In retrospect, Ewing was probably the worst thing that happened to this program. Great guy; love him, but have to admit, not a great college basketball coach. Now we are right back at square one, what has become the status quo, albeit under new leadership—rebuilding time! I believe we are in much better hands with Cooley. But I want to see players come, stay, develop, and just love playing together as a team! Losing is no fun, but we have to keep it all in perspective. Just saying.
