Hollis was leaving, know matter what kind of junior year he had. D. Summers was the same way. When these young kids have it in their mind to leave, their leaving. I don't really fault him, cause making money is always a good thing. It's just watching him play, I don't see pro. I see a player that can shoot a little bit. He could stay one more year, sneak into the 1st round, get guarnteed contract and make a millie a yr.

Yes, we need dribble drive players. It will open up the offense and put pressure on the opposing defense. You can score or drive and kick. Simple! I know most of this board loves are offensive style, but the teams that win in march madness don't play that way. Its harder to stop a player driving to the hoop, than a player taking a jump shot.

I figure he would leave this year after declaring last year. Not really NBA ready but half the guys that go early aren't ready either. I wish Hollis the best of luck!

Great game. I really like the length on this team. Clark looks like he's going to be a real leader this year. Henry improved and Otto is very steady. All the frosh will contribute this year. Nate has some work to do because he looks unsure when he receives the ball. Although its November its still a good win. Because it you lose to many in November you won't make it to March.

Stars is an excuse for our coaching staff lack of preparation during the tournament. Look at the teams that made it to the sweet 16 the last 4yrs, all of them aren't as talented as us.I think we've had enough stars to succeed. Roy could have been a college star if he was used better. Put Roy in the post and give him the ball. Instead of the top of the key. Watch a pacer game if you want to see it. Summers who is a pro would have been more effective at nc or Kentucky. Monroe was a college star but was used 50% of the time as a passer. A ton of teams that have less talent than us make it to the sweet 16. the difference is teams play harder and are better coached. Who thinks butler or duke, last year had better talent than us. If anything its even. We beat both those teams but couldn't beat a average Ohio team. The difference is when it's tournament time, are team is'nt prepared as other teams. That's why we get beat by dd to mid-major and other teams are fighting to the end.

jt3 isn't going any where and neither are we. I've stated before that jt3 is a average coach in a big time league. We'll win games but nothing more. Jt3 doesn't make adjustments and the VCU coach even stated it. The final four looks more lucky than the norm. Jt3 knows the princeton system and will stick to it know matter who the players are. Can you imagine if get A. Drummond? He'll be at the the top of the 3point line holding the ball, waiting for a guard to cut. Scary thought but true!

JT3 great person, average coach. He's still learning and will get better. His in-game adjustments are minimal at best. Some other coaches will there team during the tournament. We don't even press against ohio u, although were down 17. I support JT3 because G-town my favorite team but a lot coaches are better.

I love this board because you get some many different opinions. So here is mind. Recruiting is a problem because are players aren't athletic enough. It seems like every team can drive right by us or jump over us and get the rebound. Were not strong enough with the ball, the ball gets knocked out are hand too often. We have to drive to the basket more. I think more solid screens would help. Other teams use the pick and roll effective but we don't. We always slip screen instead of giving a hard screen. Other teams always reach the bonus before us because there more aggressive. Lastly, when the bigs catch the ball at the 3pt line it hurts the o. They can't make that shot and the d just sags back. Whatever happens these next couple of months, i will be sad about losing Cw and Af. Clearly this team didn't live up to it's potential the last four yrs but still a joy to watch.

I said on a regular basis not 1 guy. We've got 3 top guys in 5 yrs and have 1 final four. The message board acts like we go to the final four every other year. Announcers even question it during our games. It's not like most players are saying "I want to play in the princeton offense" They want to run like nc,kansas,ky. Until the princeton offense wins a title, it's like the run-shoot for football. Will the top players want to play in the princeton offense on a regular basis? You'd think getting the #1 HS player in Monroe would've stopped people from asking this inane question.

Actually i hate the princeton offense but i'm a g-town fan, so I support whatever there running. 3yrs and 1 ncaa win with that system doesn't make me like it anymore. The most talented teams usually win but what system are they running. NC, Kansas,Duke, mich st get the talent because of coaching, prestige and system. Will the top players want to play in the princeton offense on a regular basis?

I hope were better but I don't see it. Losing a lottery pick can't be good. When we played good are team was top 5 in the nation last year. We had more quality wins this year than the final four year. Next year will be counting on freshman and that's always difficult. How can you see the rebounding getting better without Greg?

Sims looked so lost last year, that he played less and less. Can u imagine are D and rebounding last yr without Monroe. Hopefully the freshmen can step up or the NIT will be a serious possiblity!

Sad, to think we had a player so good and couldn't win 1 ncaa game. Next year i think will be average. I'll still watch everygame and cheer but my expectations will be low. Good luck,Greg!

It is the system. The reason switching everytime won't work is too many mismatches and that leads to open looks. It will work sometimes but it can't be your main defense. We played that d some in our final four year. NC missed every shot down the stretch, so our d looked good. Mike Conley went to the hoop at will, so our d didn't look good. Our D is terrible compared to the elite teams.

this loss is way worse than Davidson. Davidson had s. Curry, and were a good team. Ohio hit a lot of open shots because we didn't play good D.

I agree were two passive. Teams take the personality of there coach. Really Jeff Green bailed us out that one year. Major disappointment!

We got a terrible draw, know matter how you look at it. Tenny will be a tough game. There similiar to WV. I can't even think about Ohio St or Kansas, right now. If we make it too the final 4, this will be the most amazing run of any G-town team ever!

i agree, where extreamly passive on both sides of the ball. JT 3 seems like a passive coach and his players respond to him. Are whole identiy is passive. Lazy passes, rebounding, not pressing even when losing, not getting lose balls.

I think you have to foul, to extend the game. We didn't have any timeouts, so we have to get the rebound with 6 secs and go the length of the court. Plus, if you foul right away. They can't foul us right away.

I question jt3 strategy not fouling at the end also. You always have to extend the game. Plus, we didn't have any timeouts. So we had to grab the rebound with 6 sec and go the length of the court. Also on the 3 clark took, coach should have set up a play for monroe or freeman. At the end of games we seem like we freelance to much.
