Per Rivals:
"Every time we've seen Jason Clark this year, he gets better and better. Playing more of the point here at the NBA camp, the long-armed 6-foot-4 guard is effective at what he does. He won't wow anyone with great speed or great burst but he is a cerebral player that values the ball. He'll be a perfect fit for Georgetown. "

Clark's recruiting/high school career reminds me of Jeff Green. Everyone who speaks about him is convinced he will put it together yet due to the fact that he is not GREAT at one aspect of the game, his status as a high school prep is overshadowed by some players who clearly dont deserve the accolades.

I have never seen this kid play but why do I have visions of him being skinny with long socks looking like Lonnie Harrell? Please Jah I hope I am wrong.

If he plays as good as advertised (or better), who cares?

Lonnie Harrell was ultra-talented. One of my friends said he worked a camp with Lonnie Harrell, and he went on and on and on about how he was one of the best players he's ever played ball with. My friend was on Carolina's '95 Final Four squad and the '96 tournament team...

lonnie was one of my favorite hoyas during his couple seasons with the team. he really didn't fit in big johns system and he needed to play with a team that played a little looser on the offensive end.
imagine how good the 3 guard roation of wright, freeman, and clark will be in a few years.

Somebody describe this fellas game. Lonny Harrell was a bum at Gtown. I dont care for spinning it. Lamont Morgan, Irvin Church style.

I trust that Clark is the real deal. Remember Lonnie Harrell, John jacques, Irv Church, Lamont Morgan and Jerry Nichols. These are guys that never fully developed or were not allowed to develope due to the system at that time. I am hoping that Clark will experience the same development as Don Reid.

Nichols could shoot, but that was it. I used to see Lonnie alot a few years ago when he was in the D-League with the Huntsville team here. Used to come up and watch A&M ball from time to time. Saw him last up at the crib last summer over at some tourney. He wasn't a bum, just didn't fit well in JTII style. Jacques was frustrating. Chico was a high D-1 player. Mont wasn't either. Clark is not any of those, although his jumper isn't where it needs to be yet. Its getting better though. Alot like Jeff in that he does alot well, but nothing great. What JC has is extremely long arms for a 6'2 kid. Not 6'4. Superior man defender and arms allow him to cheat in passing lanes. quick, fine athlete. Has some bulldog in him too. better than Sapp at same stage, but similar. IMO

So basically you are saying that he is another Rivers? BTW I think Rivers after next year will be are starting PG for 2 years. I love his potential. He could be a lock down defender if he gets stronger without losing his quickness. Bobby Winston anybody?

A question I've been meaning to ask. So is Jason gonna come in as a 1 or 2??

I will take those 3 in 09 and call it a day(LOL). Hey id, now you understand why I might save those 2 extra schollies from 08 if Monroe does not commit. The 09 class is off the charts, and GU is in High with all of these kids. That is not even including Judge, Mcdonald... Reik looks like Diop's "little" brother. Armwood's game is really growing. He is developing into a player, not just an athlete. It will be interesting to see if it will be Armwood or Judge that will be the better prospect.
