The 10 other players at the news conference wore shorts and polo shirts, but Green was attired in a dress shirt and tie.
"You have to present yourself well," Green said. "You are interviewing for a job, so you have to look nice."
If nothing else I think this shows the stamp JT3 is putting on the program...just pure class

You have to love articles like this, and the way it represents the program. No matter what decision he makes, he has continued and will continue to represent the program well. You can't buy this kind of publicity...and let's be honest, even if you could, Georgetown probably wouldn't.
Jeff Green continues to keep Georgetown in the news, linking the school the NBA, while Big Roy (and maybe Jeff?) will do the same thing next year, and so on down the road. High schoolers will see this, and will view Georgetown as a place where they can develop into an NBA-caliber player. And it becomes a self-fulfilling cycle.
On the flip side, you just have to make sure that JT3 doesn't jet (or at the very least not until he's been here as long as Donovan was at Florida).

Taking Bowman (who had no shot at being a first-rounder) route... When did Bowman take his name out of the draft? I think he went to the camp.

It also shows well on his parents that instilled a sense of class and purpose, which was further enhanced by Jeff's experience and further mentoring by III.

You got it. Really, could there be a better student-athelete representative of Georgetown than Jeff? Not likely, in my opinion. Whatever final decision he makes regarding the draft, I am sure he will eventually have a Georgetown degree.

Believe Jay Bilas mentioned something similar--how the kids at Georgetown came to the BET decked out in suits and stood out for how they carried themselves--and that is something that has always been respected by announcers--remember Mike Gorman and Raf talking about back in the day too.
Never hurts to carry yourself/represent your school in a professional manner.

And also that segment on TNT during halftime. The classiness continues to impress.

Jeff Green and this rising Senior group is nothing but class, leadership and ability, but this is especially true for Jeff. Obviously, he was raised extremely well by his parents and I think JT3, among others, kept his head straight when he easily could have felt a little too good about himself.
What a great testament to what Georgetown Hoya basketball is all about. Class & Excellence on and off the court . . . always. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to these rising seniors, they will always be my favorite group of Hoyas.

I can't think of a group that has had the same impact at GU over so many years -- both on and off the court. Personally, I add Pat Jr to the crew since he'll be going on his third year with these guys as they go into their senior year together. And he seems pretty close to them too. I guess Pat Sr, Ralph Dalton and Billy Martin had a pretty big impact on the court. Michael Jackson, David Wingate and Horace Broadnax. Before them, Johnny Duren and Craig Shelton. Merlin Wilson and Jonathan Smith too. But for three or four or five guys - Roy, Jeff, Jon + Tyler, + Pat Jr. -- pretty awesome. We got lucky having all of these kids as Hoyas.
