At his current pace, and assuming a minimum number of tournament games, DSR will be right about 20th all time at the end of this season, which would put him on pace to challenge Othella Harrington for #5 overall. He needs the team to have some success in the Big East Tournament / NCAAs the next two years to have a shot at 2000 points. Playing fewer regular season games this year didn't help his chances either.
DSR has 1,237 points and has passed Michael Jackson (1,225), Jim Barry (1,226) and Mike Laughna (1,234) and is now tied for 27th all time with Joey Brown (1,237); 25th all-time is Jon Smith (1,255).
DSR has 155 career three pointers and remains 8th all time. Next up is Mark Tillman (156).
Mikael has 135 blocks and remains 10th overall. Next up is Jameel Watkins with 150.
DSR has 1,268 points and has passed Jon Smith (1,255), Robert Churchwell (1,256), and Jonathan Wallace (1,256). DSR is now 23rd in Georgetown history for points scored. Next up is Bill Martin (1,308).
DSR has 159 career three pointers, passing Ashanti Cook (157) for 6th. Next up is Gerald Riley (165).
Mikael has 136 blocks and remains 10th overall. Next up is Jameel Watkins with 150.

As mentioned before, becoming a top 25 all time scorer in less than 3 full seasons is no small feat. Big Congrats to DSR.
I'm looking forward to the big postseason performances he's going to have this year and next.

As one of the old-timers that DSR zipped past on the list this year, my hearty congratulations and I hope you make 2000 ! I'm enjoying Hoya style this year - stay focused and lets win the BET! Charlie Adrion
DSR has 327 made free throws tied for 14th on the list with Roy Hibbert. Next up, Jim Barry with 328 and Michael Jackson with 331. He is on track to finish in the top five in this category and could end up second all time.
Mikael Hopkins has 438 career rebounds, just outside of the top 50. Dajuan Summers is 50th with 444.

GREAT to see you here Charlie! For those who may not know, Charlie was the captain of the very successful 1970 team that went to the NIT and nearly pulled off a big upset of superstar Pete Maravich and his LSU Tigers, losing by 83-82 despite holding Pete to his second lowest scoring total in his incredible college career. Our Hoyas held Pete to 18 points in that game, well below his college AVERAGE of 44.2 ppg -- in the pre-three point shot era. GU finished 18-7 that year. And yes, to this day Maravich still holds the D1 career scoring average.
Back in the day, the NIT was far more prestigious than it is today. I believe only 24 teams made the NCAA tournament at that time, thus the next best 24 teams that would be in the NCAA these days, went to the NIT during Charlie's time. Getting an NIT bid was a very big deal especially for a GU team from the pre-Thompson era.

Also worth noting that DSR could/should crack the top 25 for assists and steals this season.

A huge tip of the cap to a Georgetown Hall of Famer. Welcome!
The Johnnies game was painful to watch but I couldn't help but think throughout it about how much I'll miss being able to see DSR play after next year. He's having a fantastic college career and he keeps adding to his game. Talent plus hard work yields some pretty gaudy numbers.
If DSR averages 17ppg in 6 remaining games this season, he will be right around 1,400 points scored as a junior, and in 5th place all-time on this list.
With some post-season success this year and/or next, DSR will be able to make a good case for being considered a Top 10 all-time Hoya.
Thanks for looking into that Ranch. I was meaning to do so, but didn't have the time. Hopefully DSR and the Hoyas have the team success that will let everyone realize how good of a player he is.

I also saw that NIT game vs LSU. In fact, it was the only Hoya game I saw in person between 1966 and 1980. It was a tough game to lose. And I think Pistol Pete score 20 pts. Still much lower than his season's average. He did make a fabulous 3/4 court bounce pass on the money for a score. But the Hoyas played well, and I was glad to see them.
