Or 4 points per game over the next 11. 2 regular season. 3 BET. 6 NCAA games. Somehow I don't see there being 11 more games this season if Ashanti's only scoring 4 pts a game. Then again, if he decides to average 13 pts a game over those 11 (plus a FT to nail down that final NCAA game), he'll be at 800 by the end of the year. That's much more plausible in my book.

After the end of the regular season, Ashanti has 671 points.
He's guaranteed two more games this year. If he scores similarly next year, he'll just slide into 1,000.
Darrel Owens is third on the team with 458 points.
Jeff Green is fourth on the team in career scoring with 357.

Ashanti scored in double figures 10 times in BE play -- the team was 8-2.
We were 0-6 when he didn't.

After seven versus Seton Hall, Ashanti has 678 points.
This is the first BE game we've won all year with Ashanti under 10 points.

After the Connecticut game (BET edition), Ashanti has 695 points.
Given that he's scored 319 points this year, he can likely see his scoring average slip and still hit 1,000.

And after the UConn game, Darrel Owens is at 485 points... or fifteen points away from half of 1,000. Maybe he'll hit the 500 mark against BU, but he'd need a pretty big season ending tear to reach 1,000.

After Fullerton, Ashanti is at 712. With at least another game to go.
Before this season, Ashanti had scored 376 points in 52 games. This season, he's scored 346 in 31 games.

Great little stat sheet. So I guess we all assume Cook will make it to four digits, right?

With the season coming up, I wanted to bump this so it didn't get lost.
It looks like Ashanti will be next. Jeff would essentially need to average double Ashanti's ppg (say 18 versus 9( to catch Ashanti before Ashanti hits 1,000.
PPG needed to hit milestone - 29 games (27 reg season, 1 BET, 1 postseason)
Brandon needs to average 16.9 ppg to reach 1,675 points, good for 8th on the All-Time List. He needs 14.2 ppg to reach 1,598, tying Mark Tillmon for 10th. If he averages 20.1 ppg, he'll pass Mike.
Ashanti needs just over 9.6 ppg to reach 1,000.
DJ needs 15.9 ppg to reach 1,000; he needs 7.3 ppg to reach 750 points.
Jeff needs to average 20.1 ppg to hit 1,000 this year.
Of course, I'm betting we play in more than 29 games, so each player can hit slighty less and still reach those scoring milestones.
