And how successful was BC in the Big East? They won how many regular season or tournament titles?!?
That's what I thought, Jared. Shut up and fix your braids, you EDITED - unnecessary freak.

Dudley is on the NCAA All-Thug team. He also makes the All-Overrated team. And oh yeah, he's on the All-Traitor team as well.
Explain this Dudley: Miami and VT were perennial also-rans in the Big East. VT is an ACC power and Miami is a threat to win any game. What gives?

There is a very simple solution to this - win by 30.

i posted this on the GU-BC Pre-Game thread, but i'll post here as well.
I recorded the 6pm Channel 9 news in DC and (after rewinding a few times) here is what I heard....pretty similar to yhe Hoya article, although they failed to include Dudley's last quote that stopped just short of guaranteeing a victory.
From channel 9 in DC: Dudley: "When we played in there [the Big East], there were a lot of gimme games. You could definitely, you know, count on [them] for wins. The ACC is definitely not like that. I just think the league is totally different. I just think the ACC is so much more athletic, the athletes are so much different. There are a lot of deeper teams."
he then went on to ask if there was anyone from SI, ESPN the Magazine... b/c he was "tryin' to get an article"
no response
Dudley: "No one's here? Alright. ...after we get this win, hopefully we can get one."
Jeff Green was asked about the comments. His reply:
Green: "If they have something to say, then we'll see what they have to say after the game. but you know, we just need to go in and try to get a win tomorrow and try to change their point of view"

Green: "If they have something to say, then we'll see what they have to say after the game. but you know, we just need to go in and try to get a win tomorrow and try to change their point of view" You hear that low rumble on the horizon. The beast awakes. Dudley, you know not what you have done. Have mercy on him Lord.

I hope that Jared Dudley's children are horribly affected by DDT poisoning (endangered species joke there).
The more I hear people like Dudley (and Noah) speak, the more I appreciate Jeff Green. GIT'R DUN boys!

Yeah- Lic seems really shaken up. That was one of the most incoherent posts I've ever seen, but I know exactly what he means. That scares me.........

That dude must be kidding!!! If BC was in the BEAST this year, they would have seen their bubble burst selection Sunday. I hope we give them the BEAT DOWN they deserve!!

Jeff has traditionally not done very well against big trash talkers, from what I remember. Northern Iowa last year, ODU and 'Cuse this year, it seems like he's too mild-mannered to pay attention to that kind of stuff and use it as fuel. I'm sure Dudley will have a lot to say out on the court tomorrow. Let's hope Jeff keeps his head in the game and continues his streak of recent domination.

I don't care if they use it as bulletboard material or not, because if the Hoyas play their game we will win. Why? Because we are the better team. Dudley can flap his ugly gums all he wants, and maybe he's doing it because he realizes he has to do something to throw us off our game. But this team of ours looks very focused right now, and I don't think they'll be off at all -- I bet we'll see them better and stronger than the first game. Then Dudley can join the Dukies as ACC spectators.

He was trying to talk up his league and have fun, but his judgement was very misguided. I found the contrast between their players' class and our players' class remarkable.
