Obviously this is no reflection of the actual draft, but they have a tool that shows the % teams have to get the top picks. When it lists the top picks, they are as follows:
1) Oden 2) Durant 3) Brandan Wright 4) Julian WRight 5) Joakin Noah 6) Al Horford 7) Spencer Hawes 8) Thaddeus Young 9) Yi Jianlian 10) Brook Lopez 11) DJ Augustin 12) Josh McRoberts 13) Chase Budinger 14) Corey Brewer
It doesn't list non-lottery picks so you can't see how they project the rest. Out of the 14, I would guess that over half are back in the NCAA next year, but am I the only one that is shocked that Jeff doesn't show up on this? I know we are all happy right now that he doesn't, but this is outrageous.

Chad Ford's updated Top 100 has Jeff at #15 and Roy at #17. Given how loaded the list of draft prospects is this year, that does not seem outrageous to me.

Of those 14, 5 are 7 footers and few others hover around 6'10". Have we ever seen a draft with this type of height before?

Every GM who would take McRoberts over Green: good luck with that.

Don't listen to Jack GM's i'm sure mcRoberts will be an amazing pro where Jeff is sure to flop with out another year of college. No need to even consider him right now.

Every GM who would take McRoberts over Green: good luck with that. That kind of decision would probably move you up in Forbes' list of the best GMs in sports ;D

#11 on the list, DJ Augustin, has just announced he'll return to UT for his sophomore season. Of course, we've heard that song and dance before (Tucker, Aldridge, ...) but if true that bumps JG up a spot.

Hawes has already said he's gone. Which could have contributed to Washington sucking this year.

Budinger recently said he is staying for his soph. year. The Lopez twins seem likely to stay as well, although Brook has little to learn skill-wise. Kid has an arsenal of moves. Julian Wright is also apparently on the Duke "Graduate in Three Years" plan that Emeka Okafor also did and said that he'll stay to graduate.

Isiah already traded away his #1 pick this year in teh Eddie Curry trade...and then overpaid for him.
Plus, this is widely considered one of the best drafts in a long time if 2 certain someones come out as expected. Solid work Isiah.
Ford gets played by GMs all over the league. It's like a joke to them to see how far up the board they can move 7 foot stiffs with no chance to perform in the league. All with the hope of duping some other GM into thinking he's missing something...

Not defending Isiah but they trade was actually "Chicago has the right to swap first-round picks in 2007 with New York Knicks (Eddy Curry trade)".
The Knicks still do have a #1 pick this year but will be in the low 20's instead of top 10. In the end still a terrible trade.

Isn't the Duke 3 year thing a Sociology degree program that only requires 90 hours?

Has McRoberts declared yet? I would think after this dissapointing season for the Dukies he'd return to Bloodsport U for another go round ...

Fair enough, but he's still giving up a lottery pick in a deep top heavy draft.

How many of those players listed will be better than Eddy Curry? Oden and Durant are likely but how many of the other guys are going to be All Stars? Curry will likely be an all star in the near future.
