It shows how far we have come in a very short period of time that we are now Duke's "signature win " and perhaps Duke's ticket to the dance. It was not that many years ago that we were destroyed in a game against Duke on national TV @ the MCI Arena. At that time it was inconceivable that we would EVER be considered the better team.
Thank to Coach Thompson (III) and his players for making this time of year fun again.

I was at that blow out game, and I completely agree. It's shocking what this team has been able to do over the past couple of years. To think that I was actually against JT III's hiring because if it didn't go well it would alienate his pops from g-town. Yes, I am a moron.

We're also one of Oregon's signature wins, definitely ODU's signature win, one of Nova's signature wins, and believe it or not Pitt's signature win too.
Pretty solid when all five of our losses (with the possible exception of Oregon) could be considered that team's signature win.
JTIII! JTIII! JTIII!

everyone jumped on me after the duke game when i called it a bad loss and said that it would especially sting when it is used as a big win on duke's resume and a reason that duke deserves to make the tourney.

No one disagrees that it is a big win for Duke and a reason that Duke deserves to make the tourney.
However, I fail to see how that makes it a bad loss for us. The two aren't necessarily related.

I think the Duke loss was definitely one of those games that made us open up our offense.
Guards had to start shooting more.
