Oh, I almost forgot ... 52 WVa 76 Hoyas This score only applies if Hoya Blue is at "full strength." Good luck charm included! It's going to come down to whether our fan club is involved? Anyways Marriage in Dalghren Chapel 72 Marriage with RC Cola 59

People who marry outside of the family: 74 People who don't: 58 I was really impressed with our perimeter defense today...I think this will give us a leg up on the schwagsters (real word) from state where the movie, "We Are Marshall," was filmed. Hifi, stop dodging the grammar-off and live up to your challenge. Also, why have you been using quotation marks so much lately? I don't want to be accused of hijacking a thread so I will send you a pm. For the record, I have had computer issues at both home and work the past couple of days. I can only presume from your implications, that I have ... shall we say ... neglected to respond to some previous comments. If so, then I ask for continuance, to avail myself of the situation and better prepare myself for such interaction.

WV has given us fits in the past but from what i've heard their style is a little different this year. I've heard they don't religiously play their 1-3-1 any more and are a little differnet on offense too. is this true? did anyone switch over to their game after watchign the hoyas?

ive seen wvu 3 times this year. they still play the 1-3-1 and i think they execute it better this year than in year's past because they're more athletic. that being said, once you get past the initial trapping points, scoring on wvu is easy. i'm guessing that wvu will open with the 1-3-1 and end up giving easy points to roy and jeff down low which will force wvu into more traditional defenses.
on offense, frank young is having a nice year. runs the floor well and can hit the 3. ruoff is another solid option. this team is young, so they'll make mistakes.
i expect the hoyas to win this game convincingly.

also, on offense they run much more now. plus, they don't have the ultra long range shooters to extend a defense.

In all honesty, I thought that your win was more impressive than theirs. I thought that UCLA did not look very good at all. I don't want to take anything away from WV, but it really felt more like the Bruins playing worse than it did the Mountaineers playing really well. On the other hand, I got the impression that you guys were more systematic and wore down the Warriors ... not only in the traditional sense, but as much emotional/psychological as anything else. I am certainly no shrink, but as the second half progressed it felt like they were becoming more and more unraveled, which only led to a less disciplined and therefore even less effective possession. But what do I know from "trailer park central" down here in Florida. By the way, I thought that DeJaun's two tres early in the second half really helped create that intangible sense in the Warriors.

WVU benefited a lot from UCLA's PG (Collison) missing the game. They may have still won because they are as good a home team as there is in the country, but luckily our game is not in Morgantown. WVU is a horrible road team, if they shoot less than 66% from 3 at the RAC they would have lost to RU. I also think they have no answer for our frontline, as promising as that freshman they have looks, he is no match for Green. My only fear of WVU is a hot shooting performance from long-range.
I like our rebounding advantage, defense and paint dominance to carry us in this one. Look for PE Jr to get major minutes guarding Young if Summers is having a hard time.

MOD NOTE: I enjoy a joke as much as the next person, but enough with the inbred hillbillies stuff please. Try to bring the humor to a classier level.

WVU is a little low on notable alumni, but I have chosen to go with announcers associated with each university.
