I agree with Dan and Austin about the one and dones, but do you think Boheim goes to sleep each night thinking what a fool he was to recruit Melo. Also, if Austin Freeman is next year's Durant (and I have no reason to believe that he is) and he combines with the veterans and Wright to lead us to the NCAA Championship, will we be that concerned with the partially empty cupboard in the Fall of 2008? Just dreaming out loud.
On UConn, that team has a long way to go, but it is not a scheduling advantage to play them in March when the pieces may be starting to fit and a late season win may be a must for them to qualify for the NCAA.

problem with texas basketball is the sport takes such a backseat to football. Unless the team is in the Final Four 99% of the student body is clueless as to how the hoops team is doing..I, personally, enjoy this fact because it allows me to root for Texas football and Hoyas basketball and never have any conflict of interest..

The nickname list is missing Donald "Duck" Williams who was, until Austin Freeman signed, the correct answer to the trivia question, "Who was the last men's basketball player that Georgetown recruited from Dematha?"
Extra credit for naming the other member of the 3-23 Hoyas who attended Dematha.
