After many discussions with GU, the money actually isn't there. They also don't want to start fundraising for a gym when two academic buildings need money. I think until the hospital debt diminishes, we won't see fundraising for any gym on campus. The second something starts formally, then the neighborhood, professors that don't see sports as a priority, etc..etc.. all get their two cents in and kill something before it starts. A solid turnout at this game (and future on campus games) really helps though.

An ad in Friday's edition of the Hoya is already advertising the women's-men's doubleheader on December 11. It seems that the only way for students, at least, to guarantee tix to the game is to have season tix. If tickets are still available, they'll go on sale Dec. 1, for $8, on a first come, first served basis.
Good to see they're already pumping this one up. Now, only one week to season opener, and I have yet to receive my season tickets, let alone my student section T-shirt... c'mon athletic department, pull through for us.
