From The Hoya - While the university begins to move forward with concrete plans for an $82 million McDonough School of Business building this summer, a planned science center has remained only in preliminary development stages since its initial proposal 15 years ago.
Does anyone know exactly what this means? Are they starting construction on the building this summer? Accepting bids? What is the status?
Also, when will construction begin/end on the first phase of the Multi-Sport Facility?
And while we're at it, when will the performing arts building be done?
GO HOYAS!!!

This article from the Hoya suggests that infrastructure work for the MSB building will begin this fall, and that construction of the actual building should begin fall 2005 (pending permits). www.thehoya.com/news/042004/news2.cfmThe performing arts building is in the construction process. They've gutted the old Ryan building, and done most of the excavation for the new space, and I think they've done some plumbing work as well. It's scheduled for completion next April, and grand opening in August of next year. Not sure about the MSF, but I think someone on the board mentioned that the plan is for the first phase to piggyback onto the infrastructure work of the MSB building, which I gather would mean construction next year.

I've always thought that BSBA is an oxymoron, unless the BS stands for something else. Okay, guys, I am kidding.
