SF Hoya and Nevada Hoya...back to back comments, both have over 700 posts, both have geographical locations in their name...hmmm...
Is it a coincidence that Elvis Presley spelled backwards is Yelserp Sivle? I think not.
There are a bunch of us that go to games together and email about Georgetown outside this board. Often someone will bring up something from the board and then we all check around the same time. Of course, the posts on this thread were 11 hours apart, so that was a coincidence.
We're just here to talk about basketball, not to be weird double-named internet goones with too much time on their hands.

I can't speak for Nevada either, but I must confess that I too have wondered whether FOTP was Fan Of The Game's doppelganger (or vice versa -- I'm not biased one way or the other).

I have also wondered if they were one and the same.

Yeah, I think it's that nameless Smurf avatar that really seals the deal for me - I never thought the Smurfs were popular enough to warrant even one person in any given pool using one as an avatar, let alone two.
They could probably end all this speculation by going for something a little more distinctive -- and I should know. That Georgetown G that I swiped off of ESPN has really come to represent me specifically on this board. I'm glad no one else thought of that before me...

If you can explain to me how to change my picture I'd be happy to oblige and pick something from my hard drive. When I go to profile I see the pre-sets (of which the smurf is one) but I don't know how to add my own.

When I go to profile I see the pre-sets (of which the smurf is one) but I don't know how to add my own. For what it's worth, I was just messing with you. However, if you want to change your avatar, I think you have to use an image file that's on the web. Just go to your profile, click the box for "I Have My Own Pic," and then enter the web address. You can try to enter the c:/ file location (or whatever your hard drive is called) if you have an image on your computer that you really want to use and can't get it up on the web, but I don't know if that will work. At least, that's what I did to get that little G thingy. Tip: in some browsers, if you right-click over an image, it will offer the option of "Copy Location." If you do that, you can paste the location right in that box beside "I Have My Own Pic." Enjoy.

We're just here to talk about basketball, not to be weird double-named internet goones with too much time on their hands. But I have much too much time on my hands. And I bet SFHoya99 (how do you know it is not SuperFly?) does too given his Hall of Fame Status.
