Jim Mora's "Playoffs? Playoffs?" rant remains one of my all time favorites.

I think that was one of Esherick's best moments at Georgetown.

Any list like this that doesn't have Tommy Lasorda on it is a complete fraud.
Have you people heard his rants on Dave Kingman (http://tommykingman.ytmnd.com/) and Kurt Bevaqua (http://home.att.net/~syrpdblue/sound/bevaq.wav) ?!
Best. Sports. Blow-ups. Ever.

What about that audio of Bobby Knight ripping his IU team after a Big Ten loss? I don't have the time to track it down but it is fantastic.

Speaking of Bobby Knight, I always liked his quotes countering the idea that it's better to go ahead and lose a game. He said non-chalantly, "why exactly is it better to lose a game?" I must have missed that when they taught me coaching.
And then perhaps my favorite was when they were talking about putting your "game face" on. Again he said he didn't really know what that meant and then proceeded to make some of the funniest faces ever. Classic stuff.
I agree with you on the Mora stuff. He too was a walking headline. "We didn't do diddly-pooh."

Please tell me some of you folks have heard Lee Elia's tirade (killing Wrigley fans) when he was managing the Cubs. It's fantastic.
