Wow - all I can say is wow.
Green will be drafted ahead of Noah.
Reading this post just makes me remember how close we were to beating Fl last year. Wow - we could be talking about a 3 peat? Remember that spin move by hibbert from the top of the key getting a layup over Noah.
Wow

Wow You mean the move where Roy Hibbert clearly forgot who he was, then came back to his senses after the ball went in the hoop? Yeah, that was cool. Beating Florida, however, certainly would not have entailed an easy march to the Championship...waiting in the wings was a 'Nova team that had owned us in the regular season (though we probably would have had good chances against GMU and UCLA). We were close, sure...but the Buffalo Bills were close to a 4-peat once upon a time, too.

dude roy's spin move was against OSU and dials Are we all talking about the spin and layup from the foul line? he did it against FL in 06 too, and used it at least once this year at home and once again in the post season. Have to skip town for work, otherwise would try to find a clip from the FL game. I think he did it to tie the game at 46 with about 6 minutes left, or so says GUHoyas guhoyas.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/recaps/032506aaa.html

When he did it then, it was clearly improvisation...I'm pretty sure it shocked even Roy that it had happened. This year's spin moves seemed a bit more prepared.

Well, let's hope the pattern repeats itself (Roy adds weapon during last game of tourney), and he rains 20-footers all next year when teams leave him alone up top.

i am talking about the first time Roy ever unleashed it - in the 2nd round of the 06 tourney against 2nd seed ohio st. it was literally out of nowhere from the top of the key two dribbles and finger roll...that is the one i was talking about - i cant recall if there was a spin associated with it or not

The first time I remember seeing the spin move was in the 06 NCAA tournament. He did it twice as I recall, both times from the top of the key (three pt line / foul line) ish. OSU game would make sense. There was definitely one in there during the Fl game.
I remember thinking both times --OH MY GOD?!?! It was so unexpected, and frankly I think he almost killed himself doing it.
He pulled it once this year that I can remember, it was early on though.
That jumper during the OSU game was practically a 3, I mean I think his feet were on the line. If he added that to his game, it would just be silly.
Is it November yet?

HIBBERT!!!! (For those wondering, that game was when Roy officially made the transition from the 7'2 Sensation to the 7'2 Experience. And it was goooooood).
