Id like to be the #4 team in the BET and WV to be the #1. i dont want to have to play Nova or U-Con until the finals. I think we match up better against WV.

I know people don't like to talk about Vegas and all, but I did check last night and on the futures piece the Hoyas are down the 11th best odds to win the National Championship. Duke is +250 and UCONN is +500. We've gone from +20000 (where I got my bet in early this year) all the way up to +1100 or something around there.
Unreal...and we all know how smart Vegas truly is...

It would be better for Georgetown for the university of Pittsburg to overcome mountain climber of west Virginia. I would like to be the first Large East team to overcome to that of of west Virginia, but that is not important. If west Virginia were to be won, it diminishes the quality of our victory of this last Sunday. But, if Pittsburgh were, triumphant to its, it would not injure the classification of west Virginia too much because they played away of the house. A victory through the university of Georgetown this Sunday over west virginia still significantly it remains.

Is it Osama? Isiah Thomas?

For the gambling illiterate, what do those numbers mean? Those numbers mean that, if we win the National Championship, drinks are on FOTP! Actually, they're based on $100 bets, so Duke (+250) has 2.5:1 odds, UConn 5:1, and the Hoyas now stand at 11:1, after starting the year at 200:1.

Taking an optimistic view of the Hoyas' play, I would much prefer to be any seed 1-3 than being number 4. If you are number 4, then you probably have to play number 5 on Thursday of the BET, and number 5 is going to be very good unless the remaining schedule knocks someone down and allows Marquette to sneak into that group. I may be underestimating Marquette, but I see them at number 6 and they don't scare me as much as anyone in the Top 5. I certainly do not want to see Pitt again, moreso on a neutral court.

We do not want to see a Pitt team and their 34-year old point guard with 15 years of BET experience. I'd take Seton Hall or Marquette any day over Pitt.
