“I will be attending Georgetown University,” he said. “My belief in Coach Cooley and what he is building at a great university is what attracted me, as well as wanting to develop my game for the next level by using all of the resources available to me and playing in the Big East.”
“I will bring leadership, a winning mentality and hard work to the program,” he said. “I believe those three qualities are key to making a team successful.”
“I haven’t actively began recruiting other players, but I plan to assist in any way possible to help improve the team,” Mack said.

From the Yard to the Hilltop... Malik Mack is a most welcome addition. Let's get it on, bro!

Its weird the front page hasn't been updated with the Mack news. If it was an outbound transfer it would have been up in minutes in 50 font.

Its weird the front page hasn't been updated with the Mack news. If it was an outbound transfer it would have been up in minutes in 50 font. As explained earlier by Dan McQ, DFW is likely attending the John Carroll Weekend in Ireland and it's basically a one man operation courtesy of DFW's hard work.

As explained warlier by Dan McQ, DFW is likely attending the John Carroll Weekend in Ireland and it's basically a one man operation courtesy of DFW's hard work. I knew there would be an excuse. But like I said, if it was bad news, trust me he would have found his way to the Internet in Ireland.

And I've been on the Board since 1999 (predecessor board until 2004), so I fully understand all that DFW does and have noted dozens of time over the years my thanks and appreciation for his work making this site available to all of us. But we can be honest about his negativity.

For those who worry that Mack doesn't play the role of facilitator enough as a point guard.

But we can be honest about his negativity. I think you are equating the frequent negative slant on the front page with some perceived bias on the part of DFW that does not exist. He is an ardent fan like the rest of us, probably moreso than most of us. The entire program has been a frustrating, exasperating, depressing and painful negative for years. Not just on the court, but on an administrative level as well. The front page has reflected that.

Is hoyaboya ok? Might be lying in some gutter in the Temple area of Dublin. He is around. You can see his activity via a thumbs up for every recruit or transfer to every Big East team other than Georgetown..

Are you including the infamous "Laying a Rotten Egg" Easter Sunday 2008 headline after losing to Steph Curry, complete with a huge photo of a spoiled egg in the "perceived negative bias that does not exist" category?

We did lay an egg that day. He was frustrated like the rest of us; I'll bet 95% of board members screamed worse things about the Hoyas at their televisions that day.

This has nothing to do Mack. Can you move this a thread about bias on this board?

For those who worry that Mack doesn't play the role of facilitator enough as a point guard. Wow- that was some high level high school hoops.

For those who worry that Mack doesn't play the role of facilitator enough as a point guard. Wow- that was some high level high school hoops. A classic with a lot of guys who ended up going to high D1 programs. And the special circumstances regarding the health of the St John’s coach made it even more meaningful.
